Great jacket for cold-weather cycling, but see comments on sizing
I bought this jacket for cycling in the colder months, and I took the first ride on a 45-degree, partly sunny day with a steady breeze. Overall, I would strongly recommend this jacket. Here's why:Performance and construction - The denser fabric on the front-facing sections is quite windproof, and the material on the back, sides, and underneath the arms breathes fairly well. The knit cuffs do a good job of sealing out cold air. - I rode on a dry day and cannot speak to the jacket's water resistance. - I wore a T-shirt under a mock turtleneck, both made of synthetic, fast-wicking material. I was warm and comfortable, even riding into the wind. After warming up, I unzipped the jacket about one-third of the way when I wasn't riding into the wind. - Pockets are conveniently sized and placed. The zippered chest pocket easily holds my iPhone 12. - The materials (front and back) clean up easily in the wash on gentle with cold water. Light splatter from a messy gravel trail was gone in one wash with a light pre-treat. - Construction and stitching are excellent.Sizing - I read so many reviews, trying to decide between a large and extra large. I consistently wear a 42-inch suit jacket and dress shirts with a 16.5 inch neck with 34/35 inch sleeves. I'm 6 feet 1 inch tall and am a reasonably fit 195 pounds. - I opted for extra large, and I am very happy with my choice. The jacket has a tailored feel but room for an extra layer underneath, and sleeve length is generous. - I ride a mountain bike almost exclusively on rail trails. If I were a road biker, I may have tried a large for a more snug and aerodynamic fit.

Added vents would make this perfect
Overall this is a pretty good jacket for late fall cycling. I've worn it and ridden in 29-32 degrees F with no problems of being super cold. Around this temperature, my hands and feet begin to get cold before my body does. Here's my full review:SizingThe size of this jacket is fits good. I bought it according to the sizing chart and it fit no problem. I do like this more fitted style.MaterialThe material is a softshell material with a fleece lining on the underside. The material does breath a little and can stretch a little as well.Features-The jacket features three back pockets as you would find on regular cycling jerseys. These pockets are a good size and deep so that nothing falls out.-The chest and side pockets have zippers so that anything stored inside does not fall out. The inside pocket material inside the zippers are mesh so the zippers do act as breathing vents.-The wrist on the sleeve have an inner sleeve with compression that that allows the sleeve to not ride up your arms and also provide good seal so that no cold air enters into your arms through the sleeve.-The rear of the jacket is long enough to cover your but that when you're hunched over riding, the jacket doesn't ride up your back.Pros-Color is bright and matches description-Material is quality-Quality build-Can wear the jacket as a regular jacket with convenient back pocketsConsMy biggest con of this jacket is the lack of breathing vents. The three zipper pockets do provide some breathing but it's not enough to vent your sweat out on a cold day. They either need to add a vent to the back or underneath the armpits. At 29 degrees, I do start to get sweat built up... sweating in the cold is not good. You can feel a very faint airflow inside from air passing through the material but that's not enough to carry out the moisture either. When you come to a complete stop, the sweat quickly builds up and the jacket will soak up all the sweat quickly and get drenched... on a cold day. After my cycling rides wearing this jacket, my entire arms, pits, and back are usually drenched in sweat. Need vents.

Fits Well.
This is an excellent riding jacket. Tons of pockets. Very warm for spring riding. I wish it was more fitted around the neck when all the way zipped up.

Not all the way windproof and heavy
Took the jacket for a bike ride yesterday (1 C, feels like -5 C factoring the wind coming from the north). We did our usual ride from Washington square (NYC) to Tappan Zee bridge biking the the palissades and on the alpine climb. The jacket is prettty heavy to be honest and yes the fabric used is windproof but certainly not the fabric on the side of my jacket (inside arm and along the trunk). As a result it felt pretty cold on these areas and inside since the wind just travelled. Fabric is flexible enough. I’ll keep for sure bit would recommend having the different fabric sewed pattern and more on the back of the arm and on the back of the back a bit. Other note that i feel the jacket is a bit too long too.

Excelente chamarra
Es la 2da que compro. Cómoda. Protege del frío, buen corte y a un gran precio. XXL se ajusta bien. XXXL me queda algo floja.
