7000 Miles (or more) between changes.
I use these on my 2000 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 even though now Amazon says it won't fit my truck! I've been using these for a few years and they DO fit my Dakota. I uses Mobil-1 Extended Performance 0W-40 oil as well, so I go between 7000 and 8000 miles. On our Toyota which recommends 5000 mile changes, I go 10,000 as long as I use the externded performance products. They work perfectly. I just wish Amazon would fix their site so that the M1-204 filter shows that it fits my truck.

Oil Filter for 1999 Jeep Cherokee
Just installed this in my 99 Jeep Cherokee (XJ). The price was decent, so I decided to give it a shot. The filter fit in nicely and seems to be functioning fine.

Mobil 1 means Performance
Mobil 1 synthetic oil filters give me the best performance to add years of life to my engines. Teamed with synthetic oil and a quart of Marvel Mystery oil every oil change, I get well over 100,000 miles on my vehicles, including one 1989 Dodge Grand Caravan I retired at 414,000 miles. YES, over 400,000 miles...You pay more for Mobil 1 synthetic oil filters, but I read research on them and found it worth the price difference to extend the life of my vehicles.Amazon gave me the best deal on a 2 filter pack that beats the auto parts stores and delivered them to my door. Worth keeping 2 extra on my shelf as I use the same filter on 5 of my vehicles and saves me gas and a trip to the auto parts store.

7L as the recommended Mobil 1 product for those applications and never had ...
Used for many years on 2005 Town & Country 3.8L and 2003 Dodge Ram 5.7L as the recommended Mobil 1 product for those applications and never had any problems. Have since moved to experimenting with the M1-301 as an oversized filter for the same applications in an attempt to quiet down some noises the T&C has developed over the years. Only time will tell if the change was good or bad.
