Surprisingly easy to install and feels and looks just as good as before I switched the white for black. You can see the LEDs just like you can on the non-modified switch.

For what it is, this product is easy to install and changes the color of the switch’s rocker. I dinged it down to 3 stars because that is only half the job. The switch comes with a very nice looking white wall panel that snaps on so that you don’t see any screws - very nice. Since I wanted an ivory switch I have to throw this white wall plate out and buy my own ivory wall plate, made by Leviton. Why couldn’t this kit, which changes the color of the rocker, include the same color wall plate so it is a complete kit?

I admit to be worried that I wouldnt be able to see the little green level lights after installing this cover. However it was not a problem at all. I can see the lights fine and I love the look of the black switch.

Perfect match to existing switches. I was a little confused after installing this on my Decora Smart switches. When toggling the switch on, I couldn’t depress the the switch far enough to engage the button internally. After removing and examining the orginal switch covers, I noticed this switch cover had a little plastic tab inside which inhibited it from being fully depressed. With a sharp knife, I chopped it off and it works perfectly. Both of the switch cover kits I purchased had these plastic tabs. Would’ve been nice knowing this before I installed them.

Fit the bill

I bought two of these as we are going to all-white for our electrical receptacles at home. One went on perfectly, the other was driving me insane. I ended up comparing both side-by-side and realized on one of them, the little tab/finger that reaches deeper into the switch itself was at a significantly different angle than the other one, and was different than the ones I was replacing.I ended up breaking off the tab (which you aren't supposed to do) and it worked.

Just to clarify, the "kit" only includes the switch cover, which is a bit misleading.The switch plate, which you'll also need when changing color - is not included - you'll still need to purchase the matching color plate separately.

I had to show my electrician the wiring diagram after they installed it incorrectly the first time. This is NOT a conventional 3-way switch, so the wiring is completely different. Five stars for the remote switch, but three stars for the electrician. :)

When we remodelled out Kitchen we changed all the switches and receptacles to black. This kit allowed us to change the color on our z-wave dimmers without purchasing new ones (which are orders of magnitude more expensive that this faceplate) or having to add / delete switches to Home Assistant.I am super happy I found these in amazon.

Needed a black cover for my smart switch. Easy to install. A bit overpriced for this simple piece of plastic but was just happy I could find it.
