These are great bags.
I love these bags, I purchased the 6-8 Gallon last year for the kitchen bin and as long as you are a bit careful with wet items away from the sides or bottom they really are surprisingly strong bags. Trick, I place wet items aside i use a bowl and let them dry out.... Also last year I did a test during the early part of the summer. I took one bag and cut it in half putting one side into a flower bed covered with dirt and exposed to the sprinkler system ( the bag was completely gone in 6 weeks). The other half of of the bag was placed in a rocky area with some rocks placed on top, the bag was gone in about 3 months. Great for the environment.

Great for small wastebasket liners!
I bought these to use as liners for my smaller wastebaskets (bathroom, bedroom, and one to set by the door for junk mail). I am trying to reduce plastic in our household, so these seem perfect for that mission! I use these for when I clean the cat’s litter box as well. I feel better knowing that these bags will break down faster and not clog up the landfills, like the old bags I used to use as wastebasket liners. The bags are pretty affordable, too, which makes it easier to go green.

Love these!
Well priced, well packaged, and completely functional bags.Because they are compostable, they are a lighter weight and should be handled a bit more delicately to avoid tearing (which the manufacturer points out). I can’t say we are overly gentle with them - and actually stretch the opening rather firmly to fit around the can - but have had no tears and no more leaks than with higher end traditional bags.

I use this in a composting-type toilet
In this toilet, you put one of these bags in the supplied bucket and, when the bag is kinda full, you remove it and compost it or dispose of it. I used two bags for a two-week space of time between putting them in a removing them because one is not thick enough to last. It is good they a compostable; there is way too much waste plastic winding up in our ocean.

Great bags, great value
We love your compostable bags!!! We've ordered the 8 gallon ones twice--we've never had a composting bag like it. We take our compost to the street once a week, and the bag holds up that entire time with only a hit of condensation at the bottom of the bin. We are so happy to have a composting bag that keeps our apartment clean affordably while complying with city waste diversion laws.

Strong
I haven't had these bags long enough to know how well they compost. They're the perfect size for a 5-gallon bucket, though and they're strong enough for my purposes.

Does not fit a 5.33 gal size can, and completely disintegrated causing a huge mess
I've used exactly one bag from this pack of 2 boxes, and it completely failed. First off, it's supposed be 8 gallons, but it does not fit in my step and sort 16 gallon 3-compartment trrash can. Each of those cans is 5.33 gallons, and this bag didn't even come up to the top of the garbage can, let alone fold over the top a bit like regular garbage bags do. Secondly, the one bag I've used so far has only been in use for 3 or 4 days, and as my daughter went to empty it, all the kitchen scraps fell right through the bag's bottom and sides. It disintegrated. If the bags are only going to last 48 hours, that should be advertised in big letters. It's for composting kitchen scraps, of course there's going to be moisture. I'm planning on returning them. We'll see if it works.By the way, under "Get product support" for this item, Amazon shows a webpage link for UNNI, or whatever the brand's name is, and you get an error message.
