The authors have done a wonderful job with the story
Adversity is a gift. It teaches us to accept others for who they are and what they try to become. The authors have done a wonderful job with the story!

I read her pathetic story (A Silent Cheer
Emily Roback is a con artist and not an author. She promised to write my book for $4500 and I paid her the full amount in March 2015. She cut communication with me in February 2016. I read her pathetic story (A Silent Cheer: Against the Odds) and there was nothing there readied me for the bad deed she has done to me. I told her to be careful for life is full of hidden mystery.

not worth reading let alone buying
I have had dealings with Emily Roback and can only say I could not recommend anything she says or writes. My personal experience is very negative. You need confidence that the author is honest before reading an autobiographical book. I recommend NOT purchasing or reading this book.I see my previous review was censored (removed). I see this as an attempt to undermine the value of the review process. If an author can have a review removed where is the integrity of amazon's review program or that of the author.

Outstanding book
I found this book to be very well written and easy to understand. Emily had so much courage and overcame her hearing problem. Anyone who has a child with a hearing impairment should read this book. I have met the author and she is truly a delightful young lady.
