This is a great addition to our lighting needs for our workout room/play space. We started off with those old rectangle lighting that takes those long light bulbs and we slowly started to get rid of because they were really old and weren't working properly. It took us years to really find the perfect style lighting for this space and I am so glad we came across this one because not only does it really help light up the area, it adds a nice sophisticated/sleek touch. We could not be more happier with this light. The installation itself was very simple and it only really took my husband less than 30 minutes to get it wired and mounted and for reference my husband is not an electrician.

Our living room has had no light in it for the entire time we have lived here (bought house in 1994 so 29 years). We have like 3 extension cords running to floor lamp lights and other electrical items. Seemed to work since our house also has a very 1920's small awkward room layout, so the living room is on opposite side of house and completely separated from the kitchen, so we barely use the living room. We had never gotten around to fixing that problem as it was never high priority. I got this light, seeeing the remote, I thought it would be mountable and controlled simply by batteries and the remote, I was wrong. My husband had no interest in setting this light up when he works so much. He is on vacation this week and I have finally asked him to install it for me. He says he thinks he can make that happen now that Christmas is over. I cannot wait to see it mounted and working. He said my snowmobile detailing comes first and he is working on that now. He has an electrician background so I expect this to go flawlessly. I will update if any issues crop up. He actually has 2 of these lights to install for me!!

Very lightweight light that I feel would even install well in a drop ceiling panel.The light is very easy to install and the remote works well from a reasonable distance.The light is very bright and can be dimmed, shines in a white, warm or cool shade of white, and each can be dimmed and a timer set to go off after a set amount of time.Very pleased installed it in my bathroom very quickly and very pleased

We LOVE it!! It was a little frustrating installing it - once the bracket was mounted snapping the light in place was tricky - the brackets are small and it wouldn’t easily latch. Hubby finally got it and we LOVE it! Works perfect and the remote even works from long distance

The first thing I noticed was how big this light is: at almost 20 inches in diameter, it has about 2.7x the area of a 12-inch diameter light. It's not really very heavy, but there's nothing small about it when it's not on the ceiling! I took a photo of it unpacked, as well as with a normal 12-oz size soda can sitting on it to give a sense of scale.Mounting it is very straightforward if not easy. After removing any previous light, you'll end up attaching this over the electrical box in the ceiling, but attaching it to the ceiling itself. After attaching the white->white and black-black wires, covering any other non-ground wires with a wire nut as well, the light will hang down momentarily if you need it to, as shown in the photos. Final step is to engage the support frame back into the light and turn it counter-clockwise white making sure that the wires get stuffed back into the open area behind it.After installation you've got a very large and bright light on your ceiling. It seems to default to about 4000K color temperature. At 48 watts, it throws off tons of useful light but because it is so large, it is actually a bit less intense-looking than a 12-inch diameter light with 24 watts and that's good! I immediately noticed that it had a nice soft-start type of behavior when powered on from the wall switch. If you don't use the remote, at this point you're finished installing it!The full-featured remote is included, but the two AAA batteries required for it are not. The remote allows you to 1. turn the light on and off directly if the wall switch is on, 2. adjust the brightness to about 30 levels, 3. Adjust the color temperature in about 30 steps from 3000K to 6500K - this is really useful to match it to any other lights in the same area, 4. directly select 3000K, 4000K, or 6500K color temperature, 5. switch to night-light mode. Also there is a pairing function in case the light and remote are not synced. All transitions are smooth; it fades from one setting to the next when you press the button.I used this light in my home office where the remote-controlled brightness and color temperature seems like it will be useful for adjusting lighting for video calls. On a 10-foot ceiling, it doesn't look overly large or imposing, just substantial. Because it's so adjustable it can be made to work in many types of rooms.

I bought this Glowall LED ceiling light for my kitchen and got a good deal. Installing it was a breeze; the mounting ring was securely attached to the ceiling without any problem.
