This year (as of this writing) has been a horrible year so far, as far as the lack of rain and intense heat were concerned. I spent so much time last fall getting our lawn ready for the following year - only to have many areas die due to this intense heat and lack of rainfall.As a matter of curiosity, I saw this Humboldts Secret Greenify product on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. I sprayed perhaps just 25% of my front lawn and after weeks, was positively stunned (in a good way) to see those grasses remained plush and very green, whereas the other parts of the lawn (the areas not sprayed with this solution) were brown and dying.This was solid proof of the effectiveness of this Humboldts product and I highly recommend it.

Bottle failed to disperse the liquid iron. Not sure if it was clogged or what but after spraying my lawn for almos a hour, noticed that the liquid iron level wasn’t changing.

I was surprised how easy it was to screw this onto the hose and apply. That said, not sure it was super helpful, but maybe multiple applications or I'm just not sure what would make it feel like it was more useful, but I don't feel like after one bottle I saw a difference.

We have a sprinkler system, and I’m in charge of tweaking it based on weather and heat conditions as I’m the flower and plant person. He’s in charge of lawn fertilizer application, mostly because I overapplied it once at a different house and nearly killed the entire lawn, so I want absolved of that responsibility. So— he applied this in June, our lawn looked great for our Fourth of July party, and it’s continued to look great all summer and still does. We have zoysia grass. It hasn’t grown faster than usual (I’m the one who mows), but it’s seemed thicker than previous years. He was happy with applying it so I know he didn’t have any problems— I’d have definitely heard about it. We will buy this one again. It seems our timing worked well for where we are (northern SC.)

This product would not dispense out of the bottle. The seller did provide replacement bottles but the replacement bottles failed to dispense the product. Bottle being returned.

I'll qualify this review by saying I have only had a grass yard for 2 years now and am by no means an expert at lawn care.I noticed an improvement in the green color of my St Augustine grass. I did not use an iron-fortified fertilizer earlier this year, and I could tell the difference after applying this. The color got darker and more lush. I also noticed lots of vigorous growth of runners into the bare and thin areas.I used a hose to spread it, and it covered my whole lawn. I don't know the square footage, but it is an average-sized lot in a suburb. I have a pool, so that cuts out some area in my backyard. It spread evenly and quickly.I think I'm sold on this brand and will continue to use their products after seeing the results of this fertilizer. My yard looks great, and the application was a breeze. The value is good, too. I highly recommend that you give Humboldts a try.

As someone who typically buys his own iron sulfate to mix in a sprayer for lawn application, I figured I would give this a try just to see how it does. Results were good as expected for an iron and nitrogen product. It has the classic iron smell, but nothing like the smell you get when trying to mix your own dry products. That fine dust gets in your nose and you’re smelling iron for days. This helps solve that for sure. The sprayer is nice and puts out a lot of water (good for helping the product absorb into the ground) but it does take a very long time to empty out. Maybe this is the perfect flow rate to get the proper amount of water applied at the same time, but just be prepared you might be spraying this thing for 30 minutes or so. Build quality of the bottle is what you’d expect. Other than how long it takes to apply based on the flow rate, I can’t find much to complain about.

My first time trying this product and has mediocre results. Not impressed.
