CanacGentle Leader Dog Head Collar Black Medium

I can't recommend these collars enough! They give you complete control over your dogs head whilst walking and have transformed dog walking on the pavements for me immeasurably. No more tugging. For my reactive dog this collar has been great because it gives me the ability to maneouver him away from challenging situations without yanking him on a normal collar.

This has changed my life! I couldn't walk our Labrador as he pulled so much on his lead. I did some research on the internet and this product came highly recommended, with many people saying it changed their dog instantly. I was sceptical, but for less than £10 I thought I would try it and they were right! From almost pulling my arm off in the morning walk, we fitted the Gentle Leader for the evening walk and I literally held his lead with my little finger - it was totally amazing. It even calms him down if we fit it when he gets over-excited. Quite a remarkable piece of equipment.

I bought this for my reactive husky mix, as he was getting progressively worse at approaching other dogs calmly on-leash. It works wonders for keeping his hackles down, and for keeping my arms in their sockets too! It didn't take as much getting used to as I would have expected, he's quite happy for me to put the harness on him before a walk, though sometimes if we're in a grassy area he will roll onto the ground and try to wriggle out of it. It's still early days though, and for walking to heel it is fab.

My dog is a 40kg flat coat and he is very bouncy.My need was to try and find a collar that could be used to suppress some of this energy and this Gentle Leaderis so good it is remarkable.Barney walks at my side without any pulling and makes for a dog to be proud of.

I was recommended this, over the Halti that I have, to stop my border Collie from pulling and yes, it works but it does still ride up to her eyes. Perhaps need to work on the adjustment a bit. Plus at 8 months my dog still has some growing to do. Definitely stops the pulling.

This is the best halty type collar I have used, our dog is a belgian shepherd who does pull at times, we have tried other collars which she always tried to get off, this one just works and doesn't bother her at all. Excellent product wouldn't use anything else now! It lives up to its promises

After eating 2 of his haltis during walks I tried this for our lab x greyhound who pulls like a train and it works perfectly, and provided you follow the instuctions carefully (adjust the botton clip correctly) it doesn't ride into his eyes at all. I would strongly recommend this product with anyone who has an excitable or nervous dog.
