What a beautiful story! I especially enjoyed the family legacy; faith based miracle and the illustrations are extraordinary. What a joy to read.

Apparently, Our Lady only protects "brown-skinned" children
The only problem I have with this book is the fact that the author states that Our Lady of Guadalupe protects all her brown skinned children. As a light-skinned Mexican who grew up Catholic I take offense. Just because my skin is light the virgin doesn't protect me? I bought this for my daughter (and since I married a very blonde man she is much lighter than me) but now I don't know if I like this book for her since, according to the author, my daughter is too light for Our Lady to protect.

Beautiful story & illustrations
We purchased this book for my 3 year old daughter to teach her the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This is a wonderful easy to read and understand story. The illustrations are beautiful with vibrant colors. The story is very informative and there is also additional more detailed factual information in the back. We love it and my daughter loves it too.

Wonderful book! Well illustrated. One of my favorites to read to my kids to educate and captivate simultaneously. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely book. It is well written and the illustrations are beautiful. I highly recommend this book for child and adult alike! What a wonderful story, leaving the reader with a treasured memory.
