Worth the added price
Works great and mounts anywhere

faceplate mount is nice, but bracket is riveted on which limits compatibility with other mounts.
Comes with a nicely made cable. The quick release plate is a little thick, but I think that's down to the faceplate design, not this product. The bracket on the back of the face mount that attaches to the stick-on base is basic, and riveted on. I had to drill it out and make some modifications to attach a 20mm ball to be compatible with my rail system. -1 star for that (would have been better to be a screw/bolt-on affair). Didn't use the included base so can't comment on how sticky it is, but looks like 3m tape so it's probably fine.

radio face plate mount
For my auto ham radio, I installed the faceplate high, and the transceiver part low. This kit worked perfect for me.

Perfect fit
Fits the head unit perfectly. Seems to be good quality as well. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the angle adjustment ears are off and it will not tighten all the way. This is perfect for mounting in smaller spaces. Price is worth it in my opinion.

Nice head unit attachment for your dashboard. It fits my db50 as it should and comes with the cable to run it to the transmitter. Would recommend.
