Q: How long in inches is the antenna when fully deployed?

Please note it is 85ft when fully deployed

Q: Can an antenna analyzer be used to tune this antenna to get the lengths of the dipole just right to maximize efficiency and lower SWR?

In order to get the best SWR, the wire winders need unraveled to the desired band of operation. At that point, you can use an antenna analyzer to fine tune the length and/or use an antenna tuner to get the best match for the radio.

Q: What kind of core is on the balun? Air or ferrite?

I haven’t taken the balun apart, but I’d assume a ferrite core, based on the weight. The antenna works very well!
