I was actually so surprised at how much detail from the hands the mould actually gets. Not one fault about it. 10/10 recommend for a anniversary gift. It's strong too. I have 3 kids who have picked it up, one being a toddler who touched it alot and not one bit has fell off😊. Definitely value for money. The instructions are great and very clear. Simple and easy. Perfect size too. I personally wouldn't use this for kids in my opinion, you need to keep super still😊.

I ordered this kit after seeing a similar item advertised (at a much higher price) on social media. I thought this would make a wonderful ornament.The instructions were easy to follow. Note you do need a kitchen mixer ... not sure that was mentioned in the item description but no problem for us.We used cold water straight from the tap and perhaps that was slightly too cold because the moulding material took about 10 minutes to set, slightly uncomfortable to have to stay super still for that time. When we slipped our hands out it was impossible to tell whether the mould making process had worked ... looking at the place where you then pour in the "plaster" gives you no idea of the internal shape of the mould.I poured and agitated the plaster as instructions then left it overnight to go off. In the morning I started excavating the result from the mould material and was amazed at what emerged.There were a few areas where the surface had small protruding, "bubbles", which must have been bubbles in the mould making process rather than the plaster stage. These were easily cleaned off using the supplied scraper.It's now into its 1-2 week drying out period, after which it will get a light sanding followed by painting I think. Not sure what colour yet.Overall my wife and I were extremely pleased with the result so far. If you have a loved one who you can persuade to hold still for 5-10 minutes, this is highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with outcome. As long as you follow the exact instructions and time keeping for the mixing and inserting of hands, you will have a lovely finished cast. I bought a few and on my first one, i left the water over night in the fridge to keep it cold but i ended up too cold which meant we had to keep out hands in the mould for a lot longer because the colder the water the longer it takes to set. Just cool room temperature is fine. We actually put the bucket right next to a radiator the second time with our hands init to try and speed up the hardening which worked brilliantly.The mould will turn white from pink as it is hardening.Be carefull taking your hands out..one at a time in a very slow wiggle motion and put baby lotion on before inserting hands. This was mindblowingly easy, considering the resulting cast. We love it. The detail is beautiful.I would recommend sitting comfortably and practicing the way you hold hands. It took around 20minutes, and was well worth it.

We're going to craft the base too so it looks like the hands are immerging from lava.They provide a tool to remove any imperfections too.Great to do to mark events, as presents and for crafting.

Really easy to use and soo happy with the outcome!! If I can make a suggestion - add a small paint brush, like the ones found in kids paint sets. I had one at home and it works great for getting in the cracks and cleaning out the mould!!

The final hand mold turned out fantastic! The details were captured so clearly, from the curves of the fingers to the texture of the skin. It’s such a sentimental piece that I now have a beautiful keepsake of my hands, which is priceless. The mold is sturdy, and the materials used seem high-quality. I’m looking forward to painting it and turning it into a decorative item.
