Value of money. the product is good

This is a great asset to a medium sized kitchen used by a family of 3, where vegetarian food is cooked daily. I am specifying this because food preparation differs from home to home and it is important to know what this chimney can do. Normally, our food does not contain a lot of oil or spices. The little that is used is typically the part where you let mustard (sarsoon or rai), cumin seeds (jeera), dry red chillis pop in hot oil and needs to be vented out. The other time I find this particularly useful is if we decide to fry some ready to use french fries or potato wedges over the weekend (The type that you get frozen in supermarkets frozen and directly drop into hot oil and fry). The 3 speed setting is effective. The light is useful. It is a conventional bulb and not LED, but that is fine in my case. My kitchen is well lit and seldom use the light on the chimney. Elica is quick to respond for installation and it is easy to register your product warranty on myelica.in website (You just need your model number and product serial number). The one negative is the noise. I personally find it a little noisy, but having said that, I think a little bit of two sided tape in the right places to minimize panel vibration will surely quiet things a lot (Something I plan to test this weekend).

Good to use

Chimney is something which you will buy only once and then use for a long time. This chimney will give you more of a headache than satisfaction. First of all it’s very very noisy. The db rating specified by elica is absolutely false. I checked with mobile app, it noises at 80 db against the claimed 58db. Second, worst service. They took 15 days to attend complaint. They won’t have proper instruments to measure noise and will say its normal noise. Rubbish!!My suggestion: Go for something more expensive and make sure its silent.

Product is simple and easy to operate comes with 3 speed option and a light button. Nice product and value for money. Why would u get under 5k for a chimney and that too elica.

Got a great deal from Amazon and from then it was a smooth and swift delivery. Installation was also pretty clean and done in time. the product is a good one in this range. it has some noise but it would be for all the products in this range.overall satisfied with the product and the support
