Good combo at a great price
Got this for my son, he loved the color and carbon fiber look. It casts very well. Lots of action even on pan fish. Makes the experience more fun for him. Getting one for myself to use. Good value for the money.

Not Carbon Fiber But Carbon Graphics
It is definitely a fiber composite rod but with a printed form of a carbon fiber weave that looks a bit cheesy It's a nice fishing rod but this is meant more for light tackle and small game. Other than that, the grips, reel seat and rod is pretty decent and has a good look to it. As for the guides, they're not the greatest and eventually will pop out of it's weak frame. It will have galvanic corrosion though time because of the two materials not being compatible with each other. Everything else though from the wraps to the clear coat on the wraps are very nice and well made. As for the reel, it's pretty basic and has a good look and feel to it. The anodization of the spool is blemish free and the drag is pretty smooth. As for the rotation of the bail and the handle, it's pretty smooth as well without any weird stalls or odd vibrations. The reel is nice overall. It's a decent rod to play around with but if you want to fight larger game, this is not the rod and reel combo to use. It's worth the price but I'd rather invest in something that's more durable and of higher quality materials.

Great rod/reel combo
I got this from my daughter and it’s been absolutely great for her. The color combo looks great and everything appears to be pretty well-made. She’s caught many fish with this set up without a single complaint and it’s even taken a few dives into the water with no issues. This is a great value for the money and with the addition of a little string it’s ready to go.

Nice Small Rod
This is a good rod for light tackle. The rod itself is strong with a nice action and flex. The reel is lightweight but has a smooth cast and spin when reeling in. I like this for days when I am just casually fishing and not looking to go for anything big. Great rod that gets the job done.
