I purchased this to replace a tea thermos that vexed me - "insulation" that did not insulate, a tea basket that shed leaves into my brew and that clogged the spout, and a drinking spout that SPATTERED hot tea all over me any time I opened it to drink. UGH. I chose this tumbler to replace it because it appeared likely to address all of those vexations - and it does!It's beautiful and sturdy. Hot beverages stay warm for hours, and the insulation also keeps the outside cool to the touch. The bamboo is not only decorative - it's "grippy" so I can hold the tumbler comfortably. The tea strainer is thoroughly enclosed with a threaded top on the basket - no leaves in the brew - and the handy handle makes getting the filled basket into and out of the tumbler very easy. I purchased the very large tumbler with a flip-top lid, and the seal on the drinking spout is well designed, well made, and very effective: no leaks...and no explosions of hot tea when I open it. Overall, the design is sound and it seems to be really well made. (No durability rating because I've only had it for a week...)I am really pleased with this purchase, and have already recommended it to admirers. (Reminder to self: I need to add a "property of..." sticker to it...I don't want this one to walk away!)The old tumbler is going in the giveaway pile - this is a keeper!

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a good loose leaf tea mug at first, but I couldn't find something that did it all. Something that had a big infuser, but also enough space so I don't lose a lot of volume when I remove it. Something I could take to work, but with good enough insulation so that I could sip throughout the day. Also something that wouldn't spill onto my workspace, but without too much hassle to drink from. Something that washes well, but also something that looks nice and isn't ugly lol. And I finally found it all in this bottle.The insulation is almost...too good?? I like black teas, which steep at a pretty high temperature. I made some tea at almost 2pm, left it on the counter without the lid to cool off. Put on the lid while I was eating, forgot about it until almost 7pm. I expected it to have cooled off entirely, but it still burned my tongue a bit when I tried to take a sip. Truly insane how well this works. You can see the steam in the video.It's super spill proof too. I often mix in my sugar by putting the lid on well and just rotating it upside down then right side up a few times.It was missing one part of it, but I emailed them and they took care of it super quickly! This is why I prefer interacting with smaller businesses overall.I like my tea strong, so I use 3 scoops for the whole bottle. There's plenty of space for the leaves to expand, you just have to be careful to maybe use the spoon to grab the handle of the infuser since it'll be hot. Can't recommend this enough!

This came in a beautiful and thought out package(made me feel good opening a gift), the tumbler is easily held, fits in an average size cup holder, all rubber seals are easily removed and replaced after cleaning, the inner tumbler is stainless steel as well as the tea strainer/holder which is a good size tea strainer for proper portion per ounces of your choice(week or strong loose tea). Instructions were readable grammatically correct and contact information for further assistance! Hold hot water from a tea kettle without burning hands when held, holds heat well. Overall I would highly recommend this item. I will return another review after a 2 month of use to see how it holds up.*If I could change anything about this product I would have an extra lid that is interchangeable, sealed without an opening along with an eight (8) ounce cup for pouring for anyone wanting to use a to go cup one unit thermos style while sitting at a desk or relaxing by the fire etc.I have had my cup for about two weeks when the top broke. The Dounguri company replaced it immediately and included a hand written apology fir any inconvenience. In addition to the replacement they reached out to me 2 weeks later to insure I was happy! This is a wonderful company who genuinely wants to produce a good product AND customer do come first! I strongly recommend the Dounguri Company they made me 100 percent happy! They are with Etsy too. I've used this tumbler and tea strainer infuser for about a month now, taking it to work and also on a couple of road trips. It is indeed a very well made and very well insulated mug that keeps its contents hot for several hours (I've only used it for tea). With hot water in the strainer while the tea is steeping the rim of the tumbler can get quite hot, so gentle care must be taken when sipping at first, especially when driving. But a few sips later and the rim is not as hot. It was during my two road trips when I realized the superior heat retention this tumbler has. In both instances I nursed my tea over six hours and found that the tea was still as hot as the first sip, even down to the last couple of ounces! I have used many brands of "thermos" bottles before and know all too well that as you continue to open and drink down the contents, the hot beverage quickly cools down. What I discovered with this tumbler is that by design when you use it with tea in the strainer, the tea or tea bags in the strainer serve as a heat barrier so that while you drink the tea, the heat is retained and "cooling" air entering the tumbler is minimized. On top of that it is a very well made bottle, easy to clean, and attractive as well. It is a purchase I am happy with, have ordered one for my wife and soon for my daughter who is a tea drinker! I highly recommend this product.
