Love the iron it's powerful but when I first opened it I thought it looked cheep like a toy and very light too not like my previous one but it's great easy to use and love the fact that I can lock the iron to the base for easy carrying

Great iron so far, easy to use, light weight. If it lasts the distance it will be well worth the money. Cuts my ironing time way down and that's why I recommend it for anyone who needs to spend less time ironing and more time on other things.

Value for money

I sent back a Russell Hobbs steam iron generator and I replaced with this Beldray iron. It is excellent at under half the price. The steam switch on the handle is easy to use and as soon as you switch for steam, then steam comes out and also stops when you switch off. This didn't happen in my previous generator. Also the iron plate glides effortlessly across all materials back and forth and side to side. This didn't happen with my previous generator it would cause more creases. One good element is the very long and flexible steam hose from the generator to the iron. It is super long and not stiff at all. I am very happy with my Beldray replacement.

False Advertisement on number of steam holes. Picture on Amazon show alot more than what is actually given.Steam does not come out steady, you seem to get bursts of steady steam.The iron does not slide over clothes like other steam generators, it seems to have a little friction.(update)Iron broken after 8 months

Really like this iron. My old one (different make) was very heavy and cumbersome. This is lightweight, simple to use, has a good sized water chamber and does the job well. Definitely recommended.

UPDATE: The 'non stick' coating has started to burn off the bottom of the iron leaving black marks on clothes and it's probably a fire hazard as it may be overheating. NOT RECOMMENDED---Please don't confuse this with the more expensive steam generator irons. It does a good job on the hottest setting and produces enough steam to iron a shirt's front and back at the same time. However because water is simply pumped from the tank to the iron, the steam does cut out on lower heat settings when the sole plate has cooled down and is no longer hot enough to evaporate the water. This can result in the iron sticking/shiny marks unexpectedly. the seperate tank does make the iron light and easy to use so it may be suitable where weight is an issue for comfort/mobility. The cord is unfortunately not very flexible and tends to snag especially if its twisted. Good value for the money and quicker compared to a traditional iron but it's really a sheep in wolf's clothing.

We bought this to replace one that had given up after three years . I was happy with the first one so went for the same. I can wiz though the ironing each week, which includes shirts and jeans. Very happy.
