Sturdy and well-made; glides on wood and laminate floors; great price.
I had complex foot surgery, and my surgeon ordered me to get one of these to keep any weight off my foot. Even with the "cons" I've listed below, all in all, I'm very pleased with it. Here are what I found to be pros and cons:Pros~-It is very sturdy and well-made for the price. I would expect to pay a lot more at a medical supply company.~Easy to assemble; took my husband about 25 minutes~Very smooth riding; really glides on my wood/laminate floors-don't know how well it would move on carpet; haven't tried it outside yet.~Has smooth rubber wheels that don't scuff the floors.~Except for small turning radius, otherwise easy to maneuver~Has adjustable handle bar height~Attached basket convenient for moving items from place to place.Cons:Don't like the split cushion seat, it's very uncomfortable on the shin. I bought a separate attachable cushion (made for scooters like this one,) that solved that problem and made it very soft and comfortable.~Very limited turning radius. We have a small house, so that made it a bit difficult to maneuver; I have to lift the entire scooter to turn it around at times. Probably better in larger/longer spaces.~Although I like the adjustable handle bar,( I'm 5'6" and had to raise it to full extension), the attached basket doesn't raise any higher, so it's a little too low for me.~Any liquids need to be capped or have a secure lid to be able to put in the basket. Difficult to transport uncovered drinks and steer at the same time.I would recommend this scooter for its durability and price.

Good stuff - built for comfort
This is actually the second cushion of this brand that I've bought. The other one had to be replaced due to wear and tear, and getting a new one resolved other issues I was having with the old cushion (uneven balance, skin abrasions on my knee). If you're overweight and looking for one of these, this one will suit you. It's very comfortable on the knee you need to bring up - and very likely to keep you from snapping on anybody through your pain. lol

A MUST have for knee scooters
I bought an Elenker knee scooter and was warned by a nurse that I should buy an extra pad for the cushion regardless of which make/model of scooter I bought.I looked at several different options but this one stood out for the solid foam that doesn't smash down like a pancake, and it's ability to be returned if it didn't live up to it's hype.I am thrilled with this cushion! I'm in a boot (with side air pump controls - if you have front air pump controls on your boot you may want to reconsider a knee scooter and opt for crutches) and this cushion has made using the scooter MUCH more comfortable. My boot comes up below my knee, so depending on far forward on the scooter cushion I place my knee, then boot may or may not hit the cushion. This extra padding has kept my knee from being irritated and I'm so happy to report that after two weeks use, the cushion hasn't smashed down at all.I haven't tried washing the cushion, but so far this a MUST have for knee scooters!

Without this, my scooter would have been worthless to me.
I love my scooter and the mobility it gives me. However, I have very bony knees that make it nearly impossible to kneel under most circumstances. But with foot surgery pending, I needed a way to get around while I was non-weight bearing. This made a world of difference! By adding this to my scooter, I could kneel in comfort and focus on the mechanics of getting around. At one point I fell and bruised said knee, so I added a couple more pieces of foam beneath this cover and it not only stayed secure but helped me over that injury. It easily fits over the scooter platform and the strong but stretchy elastic gathered securely around the bottom of the platform. My only CON is that the cover is a plushy, white, fake fur. This will become matted from contact with bandages and casts and begin to look grimy, too. But since I cannot use my scooter without it and the foam is sown into the fabric cover, it is not a simple matter of washing it. I have no idea who long it will take to dry and cannot be without my scooter for hours. I will likely make a cover for the cover before my next surgery. If you like your knees, I recommend adding this to your scooter! I am so glad I did.

Very comfortable and durable knee pad
This is a replacement for the same knee pad we received when we borrowed the knee scooter. This pad worked great, very comfortable, wears well, easy to clean and install. I recommend this knee pad highly.

Soft but lose some stability
Pro's: Fits well and provides adequate cushioning. I will give a 5 star for that.Con's: You lose some stability. First issue is that the cushioning starts to sag to one side over time. I have fallen off the scooter a couple of times thinking my knee was on the seat but it was actually just on the padding that was over the edge of the seat. Second is you are just not as stable and I slide off easier.I would not recommend using this for short hops around the house with a lot of turns. If you are going to use it for an extended period like shopping or going for walk on a pathway where you mostly have straight lines, then that is probably OK.
