This is a food thickener.Required in certain recipes. On my first use, it did thicken the mix very quickly.

Good Thickener
I got this thickener for making ice-creams, to help prevent ice-crystals from forming. For the most part, it seems to work, but I need to get the balance right. You only need a little bit, so you have to be careful to not overdo it.
