I was really excited to get this watch to give as a present for someone that loves watches. This watch is so unique looking and has an interesting concept of being magnetic. It arrives in a nice black gift box. There is an added bonus of a bracelet included (a string bracelet). The watch band is embossed on the inside that it is ‘genuine leather.’ There are no instructions included with this. Like many watches I’ve had over the years this one comes with a small piece of plastic that prevents the stem from being pushed in. Once the little piece of plastic is removed and the stem pushed in the watch starts running. I set this watch with the outer ball for the hour and the inner ball for the minute and let it set on a shelf to see how well it kept time. The next morning it had stopped. I tried this a couple more times but have not been able to get this to run more than a couple of hours. I would assume that it needs a new battery but am not positive-it may be a defect. It will have to wait until I find the right tool to pry off the back and see what type of battery it takes. The back is also black colored and I do not want to scratch the finish-if it’s just a battery issue it may still make a nice gift.
