Great QD Picatinny-rail mount bi-pod for the money - light and solid.
Very light and fast to deploy Pic-rail mounted bi-pod that easily holds it's own against other far more expensive units. It's about 1/2 the weight of a Harris of similar size. This is great for range shooting on everything from .223 to 7mmRM. The leg extensions are spring loaded and pop out nicely when let loose; however, unlike a Harris, there is only about an inch and a half of extension and there are no gradations/notches - it's all or nothing in one pop (you can manually push them back into mid-extension positions prior to lock down), but one has to release and tighten the lock-down mechanism by turning it several times on each leg which is cumbersome compared to the quick-release Harris MBRS - especially if used in a PRS comp where setting up on uneven terrain at speed is important. The Pic-rail quick release is solid and adjustable. When loaded, there is enough play in the overall unit that you don't need a left/right pan mechanism for slight side-to-side adjustments (simple = better). The legs stow up in one direction only (but you can put the unit on the gun facing either way), and lowering them requires pressing a release on both legs (like an Atlas) which is slow compared to the Harris spring loaded knock down/up design. Overall, very hard to beat for the price and great for anything other than certain types of competition shoots. Also a perfect inexpensive back-up for a Harris or Atlas.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because
I dropped it down to 3 stars instead of 5 stars because everything was just right with no problems until I went to the range. After firing about ten rounds the quick release lever began loosening. If you shoot rapid fire it gets loose fast, so I gave it 3 stars instead of five. It works great if you keep a very close watch on the quick release lever or wire it closed. I will personally not buy anymore Rifle accessories that have a "Quick Release Lever" on it because I have bought other accessories with a "Quick Release" function on it and they all cannot stand the recoil of my WASR 10/63 (AK47 Variant).

It does swivel, but first you have to loosen a bolt...
I was quite disappointed at first when I couldn't get it to swivel like it shows in the pictures. What you need to do is loosen the 4mm hex bolt on the bottom. There is a set screw on the side that appears to engage that 4mm bolt but I could not get it to loosen, even after heating - resulting in a bent allen wrench. So when loosening the 4mm bolt you can feel it scraping against that set screw. I had to loosen the 4mm bolt to where it panned nicely then turn the bolt back and forth to smooth the action. The end result is it pans nicely +/- about 10 degrees. It's ridiculous that there are no instructions for getting it to pan like is shown in the marketing, and the set screw that locks the panning was apparently thread locked in place a little too aggressively. The size of that set screw is 2mm, the included allen wrench does not fit it.

Buy it if you're curious
Great bipod for the money. This was my first bipod, so I'm not sure how it compares to other offerings, but it has met my expectations. Took it out to the range last weekend and it was rock solid. The quick detach lever is pretty sweet. It's nice being able to add or remove it quickly.

Happy shooter
Excellent quality bipod for the price. I use it on my 10/22 setup, so it has seen a lot of use, but not super hard use of course. Are there lighter bipods out there? Yes, slightly but for more money. It mounts securely and the #1 selling point for me was the fact that the legs are under spring tension, so that when deployed, you only need one hand to get full extension. It's been awhile since I got it, but I was unable to find any competing bipods with these features at this price. Happy shooter.

Solid bipod for the price
Pretty solid bipod for the price. I've been searching for a lightweight bipod but the price is very high. This bipod is solid and built well. Has some weight to it but it is quite flexible with the quick detach mechanism. I can carry in my pocket to lighten the weight of the rifle but feel confident I can attach quickly to ready myself for the shot. Leg adjustability takes a little time and practice to get used to but once its set make sure its tightened up snuggly so the legs will hold.

RUN n' GUN APPROVED!!!
Bought this to carry with me during the Rockcastle 10K Run n' Gun and it worked splendidly. Easy to attach and un-attach. Was a great support for the 300 Yard prone shot.... "HIT!" RUN n' GUN APPROVED!!!!

Worth every penny!
Normally not the type of person to leave a review but this bipod is very nice for the money, its not a top of the line but doesn't cost top of the line either. For the the price you cant beat it A++, highly recommend this for anyone looking for a bipod will not be disappointed. Only complaint is that it could have a little more extension too the legs but almost all bipods could. I was also sceptical about the quick disconnect, not anymore very secure!
