Lindemans Gentleman's Collection Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Wine 75 cl (Case of 6)

I bought this in the Christmas deals. I don't like red wine but figured at that price it was worthwhile and sure someone would drink it over the festive period. Well that someone turned out to be me! I don't know a great deal about wine but best way I can describe it is you know when you take a drink and it's very bitter and you make that face - you know the one. This didn't have that affect. I was quite pleasantly surprised. It's nice and smooth with a lovely fruity flavour and strangely no hangover next day. Possibly because I savoured the drink and didn't just throw it down my throat at a grand rate like i would with a white/rose.It says it's gentleman's choice but I'm female. And it's my choice not to share. Mine all mineWill definitely be on order again after I finish dry January. lovely treat in February, March, April ahem ...

Everything excellent. Fast delivery. Excellent sturdy packaging. No breakages or leaks and what is more a most excellent wine in these hard times. I recommend you try this Cabernet. Money well spent. I will buy more later if still available. Many thanks Amazon from a self-isolater. A life saver.

This is a stunning wine. Ordered a box of 6 and enjoyed every sip. A tiny bit too overpriced though

Lovely wine, full bodied and fruity. Far too easy to drink. Great value for money. Happy to recommend it to all my friends or buy a case as a gift although I would rather keep it for myself.

Its nice reasonably priced Cabernet. and what is more it arrives within a couple of days. It is also very well packaged. Other suppliers have taken a couple of weeks and in one case (no pun intended) not at all!, I shall be ordering more!

I would have preferred to have provided 1:1 feedback to the wine supplier, rather than comment. However I can find no such facility available on the Amazon site, against my order for 'feedback'.My review at this time is based on the goods received not matching their description. I have not yet sampled the wine itself. Within the product description which I referred to pre-purchase and bought on that basis, the vintage is denoted as 2016 but I have been sent a case of 2017. I don't intend to try the wine before the weekend but when I do I sincerely hope that it lives up to my recent experience of the 2016 I was expecting to receive, and does not disappoint. If I can amend this review after the weekend once I have indulged, then I will gladly do so.

Got this as a present for my connoseur brother in law and he loved it. Can't go wrong with this one, great taste.
