It's hard to find a dress that fits me all over... shoulders are wide, top is heavier than bottom, and I'm short. But this dress I liked very much. It has a nice weight. It's not thin. Not scratchy. Has pockets!! Hem hits below my knees. Had hopes to wear to work... BUT the zipper... I was having some issues with it while wearing the dress. I took it off to get a better look. It zipped but it was not smooth. I tried putting the dress back on to zip and the zip would stop half way. I did not want to force it. I did not see it snagging on anything... I don't know. I am sending this back for an exact exchange.

I am 5’3” 169 pounds. 42”36”46”. 36G bra. This review is for the CEASIKERY Women’s Business Retro Cocktail Pencil, Wear To Work Office Casual Dress” in Green. I’m pretty happy with this dress I’ve decided to keep it. I like the style. It is a medium weight material; cool enough to wear in 75 to 80° weather. Love the pockets of course. Some things to note…I wasn’t thrilled with the fit when I initially tried it on sans Shapeware. In the pictures I’m wearing “Spanx Shapewear for Tummy Control High-Waisted Power Short”. This is a lightweight super comfortable smoothing shapeware but definitely does not provide the tummy control needed for this dress as you can see from my belly button shadow. I will try with better tummy firming Shapeware but overall I’m comfortable with the combination for every day casual use. Second, the wasteband does not sit at my waist. It is about three finger width’s above my bellybutton; right at the beginning of my rib cage. I don’t mind this. I only mention it because the model picture doesn’t accurately depict where the waistband sits. A woman with a longer torso may find the waist band fitting like an empire waist. Third, you will note in my picture that the V-neck is tacked in an awkward place. I will be retacking it so that doesn’t pucker. And last of all but probably the biggest concern of mine is that the material near the armpit and cap sleeve is a little loose. I may have a seamstress raise the shoulder slightly which will definitely fix the problem. If I don’t get around to it, it’s not a super huge deal but, I might steer clear of this style in the future.

Material is stretchy enough to be comfy but structured enough to hold a great shape. Good thickness, not see through or line showing but light enough to wear in 75° weather.Hides that mom belly and gives a great silhouette. Got a TON of compliments in it. The pictures do not do it justice in person.And the POCKETS. Whoever designed this dress deserves a medal. You always run that risk of “saddlebags” when you get dresses with pockets but these are amazing. Tucked to the front side of your legs instead of the sides of your hips, and roomy because of that gathered waist area.The only downside for me is I don’t quite have the real estate up top that the dress can handle, so I had a little gapping issue, but nothing that I can’t tighten up a bit to fit better.Worth the money for sure!

Bought for a family wedding but it just didn't fit like I hoped and the fabric looked a little faded. I hope it works better for another.

I have gained some weight over the last few years (working on that :) so I bought a large - normally would have purchased a medium. Dress fits great - just a bit big but very comfy. The quality is nice, has a bit of a sheen too it. Fits well, love the length - classy look that I can wear to a professional cocktail reception or in my office. I will order more of these!

I like the material and color a lot, and it seems well made. I’m 5’7”, 140 pounds, with long legs and a short torso. My figure is somewhere between and hour glass and a pear shape. I purchased a small and it fit fairly well. There are two things that would make me hesitate to buy it in other colors- the wrap style front is only sewn with a few stitches where the two sides meet so if I slouch at all it gaps underneath (see photo). The area right below the waist band bulges like it’s slightly too big in that area. Otherwise I like the dress and will wear it regularly.

This dress was so comfortable, breathable, easy to clean and looked absolutely adorable on. I would highly recommend and could be paired with just about anything. I wish I could purchase one in every color.
