I ordered this cable as my Seagate backup plus wasn't working properly since last few days of course because it's 5 years old, but the way I have taken care of it I thought I should not have given any problem for at least 2-3 more years. But here I ordered this cable and Amazon like always delivered it quickly within 3 days. The moment I opened this cable, I was shocked to see the quality of the cable, it is so sturdy and lengthy that I can literally use it to whip someone's ass for self defense if it comes to that and I'm sure it still won't break. Just to be sure if this wire is actually the best, I ordered 6 other cables most of them way more expensive than this one, and guess what they were all thinner than this cable and shorter as well, this cable is really good if you travel regularly it can definitely handle bending, twisting without any issue, and also me Seagate backup plus hard drive also started working absolutely fine. I haven't reviewed for durability because it's been only 8 days since I'm using this cable.

It's a well built cable. Although it is usb 3.0 compatible, I only have USB 2.0 porte on my computer. So haven't tested the USB 3.0 speeds. With USB 2.0, the speed is pretty decent. Although with usb 2.0, the speeds are not great. The performance is similar to the factory provided cable that came with the external hard drive. The wire is tick and won't bend easily. So if you are looking to move the cable by bending it or concealing it, it will be difficult. The end connectors are gold plated. I stay near the sea shore, so we usually get corrosion on these connectors. Let's see when that happens. It is now only a few weeks since I'm using the cable.

The cable is made of quality material and the connectors are sturdy. The cable won't get broken easily. However, the cable is only limited flexible. It's not possible to run the cable in any way you want, it's always wanted to sit in one position, so it's always pulling and pushing my phone.I think that Amazon should have mentioned in the description that this is not a flexible cable.Otherwise an excellent product, that I would buy again if I needed something for a very solid application.

The cable is thick and seems durable. 3 feet length is great and feasible to use. transfer speed touches 100mb/s sometimes 120mb/s which always depends on your transferring files.

I am using it as my PS4 HDD extension cord.Very tough and premium quality. Though it is little expensive for a single usb cable but looks like it is not going any where before 4-5 years.Reason to buy : Needed a 3.0 usb cord, and local vendore cheated me by selling a 2.0 cable which have a blue usb point like 3.0 cables to deceive people, my PS4 rejected the wire as 2.0.So here I am with real 3.0 cable.
