Dove Products Blender Kit

I have had another Dove Blender Pen, and I absolutely love it. I needed more of the solution, so I bought this item. I usually use my Dove pen with watercolor pencils -- it works wonderfully! I had difficult time finding the Dove Blender Pen -- so I am glad I found it at Amazon!

This is the best blender I have found. The kit comes with the blender pen, blending fluid and extra nibs. I love that the nibs can be replaced. Only wish is that the nibs came in different sizes and different degrees of soft and hard tips. These tips are a little soft and a little tricky to use on small projects, but they are still wonderful!

Works great, seldom needs refilling and I color a lot. If you want blending and to get rid of stroke marks or just get a richer deep color, this is the tool.

I love this thing!!! I'd never heard of it before but found out about it while piddling around the internet exploring watercolor pen/pencil art options.I just gave it my first go and I LOVE IT! I compared side by side swatches, blending my pencils with a water brush vs. this Dove Blender, and at least right now I can say that hands down this thing is going to be the preferred blending method. It just makes the color blend so smoothly and it requires much less dampness, which is great because my purpose is for Sketchnoting, which will mean I won't want a ton of water affecting my paper.I would give the product 5 stars except that although all the packaging was intact and looked new, there was a little bit of product spilled out of the bottle and mucking up the inside of the bag and the pen. Just a tiny bit. I know other people have complained about that too. So the company needs to do something to resolve that. But as far as function goes...5 stars for that!

This has so many possibilities with a variety of mediums. The pen is easy to fill and comfortable in my hand. The solution should be long lasting as it only takes a few drops to fill and that dosage lasts a long time. The tips appear to retain their pointed shape, but heavy handed could dull it. It wipes easily to clean the nib for the next color. It blends colors easily and doesn't take much pressure to move the color. In fact too heavy handed can almost wipe the color off.

I have several blender pens but I like this the best, Tombow and other blender pens seem a bit dried out to me. This one comes empty, with three felt tips that you can wear down, and uncover new surfaces to blend with. It also comes with a little bottle of fluid that you can use to refill. Based on how little the level of the bottle went down when I filled it, this should last me a good long while, and if I dries out, I can refill it.

Pen arrived sufficiently packaged. The pen already had solution inside, so was ready for use straight out of the package. I have used it with the watercolor pencil as a test, and it did blend very nicely. A lot easier to control than a water brush, and appears to be more consistent.I am taking a star away due to the fact the nib has already started to degrade, even though I have only used it so far on test pieces. I suspect it will be necessary to replace the nibs regularly, and will probably have to invest in a spare set sooner than I hoped.I am also taking a star off due to the fact the end of the pen is not coming off, so adding replacement solution will have to be done via the nib. (YT videos show the end should come away, leaving easy access to the filter inside).I think it will be a good pen to use for water color pencils for sure. It has not worked too well with the zig real brush markers, but I am accepting that could be due to the paper not being adequate for that particular medium.

My favorite go to blender for coloring with colored pencils. I highly recommend getting the replacement tips from this company as well. You will be glad you did. The bottle of blending fluid that is included is the icing on the cake with this set as the tip does dry out with use..but a drop or two of the fluid brings it back to life.

Very very disappointed. The nib started fraying after using it twice. I will not but this product again.
