Not suitable for door handle circlips
If you want to remove a circlip from a door handle to change a broken spring I would recommend that you do not purchase these - the two end prongs are slightly too wide for door handle circlips and they keep slipping off, I found this out through experience. After some research I purchased KNIPEX 46 21 A11 Circlip Pliers for external circlips on shafts black atramentized plastic coated 125 mm and they are exactly what is needed and work perfectly.

Designed to do just one job, which it does well.
Bought to remove circlips from a door handle fitting, then to reassemble after replacing broken spring. This exact tool was recomended by the firm supplying the replacements springs (plus the spare circlips). The tips fitted the holes snugly and the grip was nice and firm so the clip could be manourvered into place easily.Job done.Good price for a tool which is probably not going to get a lot of use (first time I have needed to change this type of circlip in 50 odd years as a fitter and DIYer).It was a second purchace, the first order was for a Silverline Multi-head circlip tool, but I was incorrectly sent an Amtech, which was useless and returned.In my working life, if a tool is needed professionally, pay good money for the best. For DIY or for jobs that crop up infrequently, low cost tools frequently will do the job. BUT must be used with more care and consideration. You pays your money and makes the choices. Money saver
Pretty pleased with these. I bought them to remove door handle circlips to replace broken springs. (A as couple of pounds for a dozen springs rather than replace a pair of door handles),They do the job, but on one occasion they were too big to remove a circlip. ( the ends/ tips too big to fit into the clip). Possibly a random size circlip.Overall good. One of those things that you will use once in a blue moon, but really handy to have when it’s needed

Body piercing uses.
I was trying to get my PA jewellery in, initially I was doubtful if these would cope with a 5mm thick surgical steel BCR. They Did the job easily without bending or strain. The BCR sat on the two prongs without slipping which was my main concern, if these circlip pliers failed it would cause a painful and embarrassing injury..Needless to say my trust in them was well founded and I'd be happy to recommend them to other people for a similar use.I won't include a photo with this review as I don't want to excite or offend. 😜👍🏼

Ends broke off
Tried to use this product to remove an exhaust baffle, but the second time I managed to get locked in one of the tips broke off. Cannot be bothered to send back

They are circlip pliers and work very well as circlip pliers, and for prising things apart.

My wife jammed her embossing machine
Good quality excellent value worked perfectly on my wife's embossing machine that she had managed to jam by trying to force through a stack that was too thick for the machine to handle and then required dismantling to clear the jam.
