The Dr. Martens 3-Eye shoe knows what works -- comfort in any situation, of course. But so does simple, undeniable style, which is featured in this sporty and durable shoe with full-grain leather uppers and corner-stitched construction. A foam padded collar and tongue, a striped canvas sockliner and EVA wedge adds to the laid-back appeal of this shoe. The trans PVC outsole provides flexible, long-lasting durability.

"nice" shoe for the rest of us
I grew up with Doc Martens, the socially unacceptable kind. Now that I'm a big boy, I have to dress more respectably. From the top, this shoe looks like any other, perhaps a bit on the casual size. There are two thread lines around the periphery. The one on the top is white. The one on the side (not readily visible to the casual observer) is traditional yellow. Fit is like the Docs you've worn all along.

Shoddy work on this batch
Great shoe, as this is my third pair. But there is a difference in the fit and finish on this one. Firstly the seam between the leather upper's interior and the edge of the sole seems to be getting larger. Also there seems to be some difference in fit across the mid-upper between the two shoe's. Loved my previous 2, but these were a sub-par product in comparison. I think the ones with the beige interior liner are of a different manufacturer than the black/grey interior ones. Just a thought.

ok shoe
Not as good initially, but they are getting there. Maybe its just mine, but they had slightly bunched up liner material at the upper heal area. So for me, wearing thicker socks helped to alleviate the discomfort. It seems that the area is getting softer as I wear them. These are not the Made in England doc martens either. Chinas finest........

Nice looking shoe
Doc Martins, cool. Got the size 11 and they fit a little snug. Need to stretch out slightly. I had a different style Doc M that broke in nicely after a while and then the sole cracked in half. Hope these last longer. The insole is not removeable which would make it roomier. Light and comfortable just a little snug.

Does not feel like Docs but more like Sketcher or hard and heavy ...
Does not feel like Docs but more like Sketcher or hard and heavyAlso, its too wide and dangerous for driving a stick shift (manual transmission) car as you will press the gas pedal also when you hit the brakes pedal.

Just what I expect from Docs
Just got them-- they are very sturdy and like all docs need a breaking in period but as far as I can tell they are true to size and great looking shoes-- I have only worn Dr Martens for about 15 years now, and these are a great pair of shoes that look and feel great!

Love these shoes!
These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I really like how they have plenty of room in the toes. They take a couple of weeks to break in but once you do, they are awesome. They look nice too! Being made of a quality leather upper, they are durable and with the Doc Marten's Wonder Balsam, they look like new again in seconds.

Second Pair
Well I'm on my second pair so that must be saying something. They are comfortable, though not much insole support, and hold up well. They are also great for wide feet.

Zack DMs
Not a smart 'fashion' shoe in any sense, but a strong, wide fitting 3-eyelet Gibson in a textured rather than smooth finish dark brown leather - wore them straight out of the box and walked a good couple of miles and they are very comfortable indeed. Ideal if you spend your day on your feet as the trademark cushioned sole is absolutely brilliant. Uppers are robustly stitched onto the sole so look like they aren't going to come adrift in a hurry either. The laces could be thicker, but no reason to detract even one star from what is a great shoe !

DM Zack Shoes
Something a bit different from the usual Doc Marten Gibson shoes. They look the part in waxed grainy leather although the laces are not as thick as those shown in the pictures. Unusually for DM's, these are insantly comfortable from first wear with no real need to break in thanks to the soft leather and padding to the insole and heel. I notice there are some comments about quality issues in reviews of other DM footwear but these seem to be really well put together.

A comfortable pair of casual shoes
Bought these to wear whilst on holiday and doing a lot of walking sightseeing. They are comfortable to wear and did not blister my heels when worn for the first time or subsequently. Quite light considering they have the famous Dr Marten soles. They are wide at the front rather than tapered -which gives them quite a "chunky" look. Very pleased with them.

Still wearing these shoes in.
Fitted comfortably around the house and then they became uncomfortable when walking out in the street. However, it is early days. I hope they will become more comfortable. I wore Dr. Martens shoes and boots when I was a policeman in the 1990s. Hopefully this pair will live up to my expectations.

Great Brand
Great shoes from a great brand. Arrived in good time and very well packed. The shoes fit as expected and are as light as a feather on the feet. Lovely matt black colour.
