Junk
This generic cylinder started leaking after 1-1/2 years. At year 2 seal assembly blew out the end of the cylinder. This time I'm buying OEM part. First original John Deere part lasted 25 years.

It works like the original
The cylinder fit my John Deere 455 correctly. One problem I had was with the Nylock nuts that came with the cylinder. They refused to tighten up since they caused the pinion bolt to rotate. I finally gave up and used the castle nuts from the original cylinder. Also, the grease fitting on the shaft end is on the top instead of the end like the original. This makes it impossible to attach a grease gun after it is installed. I greased it before installing.

Nope
I have been through two of these in less than one year. Customer service was exceptional and sent me the replacement at no cost. After that failed I bit the bullet and bought the $400+ OEM part. Visually nicer and no problems so far. I think you are asking for problems and be frustrated and disappointed like me

Great product except one problem!
The Product is great expect for the plastic caps that keep the pistons from getting debris on them. Along with needing a 45 degree grease zerk on in order to be able to grease it after being installed.
