Q: Do i have to update the firmware on my cinema 600 when using these?

Firmware would not need to be updated to use the Surround 3's. Cinema 600 - Pairing the Surround 3's To pair the optional Surround 3 wireless surround speakers to the Cinema 600, please follow the steps below. 1. Position and plug in the Surround 3's with the Cinema 600 powered on. 2. Hold the "PAIR" button on the Surround 3 for three seconds *Note: the status light on the back of the Surround 3 should be blinking, indicating it is in pairing mod 3. Remove the end cap on the side of the Cinema 600, then push and hold the "SURROUND PAIR" button for three seconds *Note: the status light on the back of the Surround 3 should be solid, indicating it has successfully paired

Q: Does the product come with accessories to mount the speakers to the wall?

They will not come with a wall bracket. However, the Surround 3 speakers will have a single 1/4-20” threaded insert on the back where you can attach a standard wall mount.

Q: Can I use out of the box w/out a soundbar?

No, there are no low-level or line-level inputs on these speakers. They receive the signal via Bluethooth from the soundbar.
