Pretty small diameter - but works for some purposes
These aren't the slinky's of my youth. Very small in diameter, but they do the same thing I guess.Good alternative use is to hang one on the pole holding up your bird feeder and it does keep the squirrels from climbing the pole.A nice inexpensive toy/tool, but was disappointed in the diameter.

How the item was used.
I had always heard this item was called a “slinky” and was a children’s toy. My use for this had nothing to do with being a toy. This slinky was stretched along the top railing of my balcony and in between the railings down below—hopefully to keep the pigeons away. It wasn’t totally effective but did help.How

Perfect for classroom or gift bags! Smaller size!
Perfect little slinkies for a class treasure box or gift bag. These will not work on stairs due to the smaller size. Sturdy and well made, but as with any slinky, it does not want to be stretched or tangled.

The photo is deceptive of size. It is approximately 2” in diameter. The photo represents a larger version; reminiscent of the toy from the ‘60’s. This is NOT that toy.
