Q: Does it shred cabbage fine for Cole slaw?

I use it for cutting cabbage for sauerkraut. Which is granted a little thicker cut. That said, I had to open the blades up slightly because I thought the "as is" was a little too thin. So I would say yes, it should do the job for Cole slaw. FWIW, we used to cut it by hand, took a few hours. This last batch of kraut we did (10 gallons), we shredded 16 heads of cabbage in 45 mins with this machine. What a time saver.

Q: Is this NSF approved?

Not sure if it is “NSF approved” but it is made in the US and is made of 304 stainless steel which is the most common food grade of stainless steel. Not sure if this helps or not.

Q: what is the range of blade adjustment in inches

My husband said it is 1/4”, at the most.
