Fantastic item
Fantastic item and great value for money, we find this better than a roof box as you can fit loads more in. Perfect for families as we can get everything we need in. Takes two people to put onto the car and fasten down I would say. Quality is fantastic and durable, waterproof and long lasting.

Must buy for camping!
Brilliant roof bag, cannot recommend enough! We use this for camping and have used twice so far and it has been brilliant!Carries a lot and safe and secure. Comes with an anti slip mat too.We have a Golf R which has glued on door seals so we couldn’t hook the straps under the seals, so we had to improvise and purchased extra straps so they go all the way through the car. Works great.I would encourage anyone to buy this :)

Spacious, sturdy, and easy to fit
Withstood a 6 hour drive, there and back, on top of my Ford Focus (no roof rack, no bars).Loads more space and far cheaper than a roof box. And super easy to fit (10 mins maybe).Only minor gripe is there are two additional straps on the front and back (four in total) that need tucking into your door as there are no hooks for these. Assume they're for use for when combining with roof rack/bars.Be warned, it'll need a clean after the motorways as it picks up its fair share of insects!

Bag-rain bargain
This is an absolute bargain of a product. It was really easy to attach to the roof, especially after I realised not to tighten the straps until after I'd loaded the bag, and that the zip goes right around 3 sides. So simple to hook the brackets under the door rubber. It held firm in some decent winds, and was bone dry after a few showers. Highly recommend

Survived a journey of over 300+ miles
Wanted to wait until I road tested this before reviewing.Just returned from a trip from Teesside to the Isle of Wight, around 334 miles each way; with this roof bag attached on our car with no roof bars.It worked really well, wasn't too bad to load it and fit it on the morning we travelled - took about 30 mins to get loaded and strapped down. Did weigh the bags initially to try and keep it below 50kg to avoid denting our roof.Halfway down did stop to check the tightness of the straps, it was still fairly tight - just a little nip of each strap. Also, it was attached on our car on the front of the ferry, with a fairly windy ferry crossing and the car was sitting in the open. (see photo)Managed to put all our soft belongings in for 4 adults + 1 child + 1 baby.On the way back, put two full bin bags of dirty clothes in as starter, with a handful of other bags-for-life.The only thing I can't vouch for is heavy rain, as we had a dry trip down and back; however the thickness of the material and the design of there being no opening zip at the front (only down sides and back) means less chance of any water getting in at high speed from the front. I'm confident the contents would stay dry. After both journeys, there-and-back; no noticeable damage to our roof and the door seals slipped back in place easy enough.All-in-all, very happy with this roof bag.

Used it on a Peugeot 3008
So glad we went for this one. Had briefly looked at boxes, but they are very expensive - and harder to store. This one seems really well made and was easy to put on the roof. I had to put it towards the front of the car to line up with the straps, but wasn't an issue. Didn't move at all during travelling - we drove about an hour each way on a motorway for much of the journey. It also fits a lot of stuff! Was apprehensive at first but was no need to be - would recommend!

Very pleased
Used it twice now. Great extra storage space for our trips. Has been waterproof and secure. We strap ours to roof bars not doors. Was a bit tricky tightening the straps in the rain as they are a bit slippery but advised since that a thin tent peg through the tightening buckle helps. Very pleased.

Not easy to attach... but worth the effort.
Absolute game changer for holiday packing. However not easy to install ...says to clip between door and seal ...this does not work if door seal is glued down. Had to 'get crewtice' with some long ratchet straps attached above heads through the car and to anchor points in boot but once fixed gave us so much more room in car for kids and dog!
