Great features and very adjustable
Hopefully, I can clear up sizing issues on this. I think it would fit many adults, although people who are very tall or with a long torso may find it too short. With the straps cinched tight, this vest is approx 32-33" circumference at the waist strap. With the straps let out all the way, it's approximately 40" circumference. Both the waist and sternum straps can be moved up and down for individual placement, so the max circumferences for the chest area is more flexible. On me (5'4" with a relatively short torso) the bottom of the vest front pretty much follows the bottom of my rib cage. It doesn't ride up when running and the arm holes are large enough that there's no chafing, even in a tank top.I'm using this with an older camelback 50 oz bladder and it fits with room to spare. The bladder pouch measures 14.5" long and 6.5" wide, so it could definitely accommodate a 2L bladder. The entire top is open for inserting/removing the bladder and secures with a toggle. I was initially concerned my bladder would move around in the pouch, but that doesn't seem to be an issue when wearing it because the vest holds it snug to my back. You can also cinch the pouch area down a bit using the shock cord on the outside. The pockets are more than I need for most runs, but will be good for hikes or trail running. So far the construction and fabric seem really solid. Really happy with this vest, especially for the price.

Awesome pack with options for short hikes!
*UPDATE*After several months, this pack is still my 'go-to' pack for my quick hikes. I have two Camelbaks and I like those too, but one is small with only one small pocket for storage and the other is too large for a quick jaunt...more for a full day long hike carrying a lot of stuff. However, much like Goldilocks, this pack is just right. I bought a 2L hydration bladder to fit in it and it has just about the perfect size, weight, and storage capacity for me and my 2 - 4-hour hikes. There is still a lot of storage that I don't use, so I would imagine it would be fine for day-long hikes with a lunch and other items. I did a 2.5-hour hike/climb in the heat of an August afternoon yesterday and the pack felt great. I had my bladder filled with ice and water and it stayed cold the whole time. Again, I love this little big pack and highly recommend it.*ORIGNAL REVIEW*This backpack was exactly what I was looking for. In an attempt to be healthier and tone up, I have started climbing a local mountain once or twice a week after work. It takes me a couple of hours and I take an insulated water bottle, a bottle of Powerade, a half-frozen bottle of extra water and a protein bar along with my keys, sunglasses, and phone. I have tried a few different backpacks from the standard school backpack to the drawstring type of backpack and they all have their problems. The school type backpack was just too big for what I was needing and got my back very hot. The drawstring backpack was a better size, but the straps were not comfortable at all and I had to keep re-adjusting them. I started researching hydration packs and decided I wanted to try one. I did a lot of research on different packs and came across this one. Though this one didn't come with a hydration bladder, this pack was exactly what I was looking for in terms of size, comfort, and options. The reason I honed in on this bag was the fact that the straps are connected by a piece of arched cloth across the top. This allows the weight of the pack to be evenly distributed across the top of your back rather than the just straps digging into your shoulders. I liked this feature on a larger backpack I had and was looking for the same thing in a smaller one. I also like the sternum strap for keeping the shoulder straps from moving around. The back of the pack has a nice mesh backing that helps with cooling. Yes, my back did get sweaty, but it didn't feel hot like it has with other packs. The shoulder straps are also made with the mesh material and did not get hot and sweaty underneath them at all.I have ordered a hydration bladder for this pack, but have not used it yet. However, I like the option of being able to use it as a small backpack to hold my water bottles or to use it as a hydration pack with the bladder depending on my mood or if I don't feel like messing with the bladder or not.Overall, I love this pack and it will be my go to pack for my after work jaunts or maybe for a solo Saturday outing. If you are looking for a small, comfortable pack that you have the option of using with a hydration bladder for short hikes or a day at a festival or amusement park, I highly recommend this one!

Pay $20, get a $20 dollar camelbak
I'm a runner training for a 50 mile ultra marathon, and I bought this hydration pack as a cheaper alternative to a camelbak. So I guess you get what you pay for, although I don't know the quality of camelbaks from experience. It holds water well, despite not having the hooks inside the bag that I assume most of these types of things have, which leaves your hydration pack moving around a decent amount while running. The constant sloshing is a bit annoying, but you get used to it. That may not be a product issue, but an issue with anything where water is carried on your back. The product isn't the most high quality material, which I discovered on my first and second runs when the cinch ties snapped out on both sides for the pockets on the backpack straps. One side is still working, but come on! I tried adjusting them once and one of the ends broke off. So material ain't made to withstand much. Also, the buckles on the chest seem to loosen up a lot as you run, which is also a bit annoying. But again, it cost $20, so I should have expected it.Overall, it does the job for the 2.5 hours I have worn it on runs for, helping me carry water, my cell phone, and some snacks, but it is certainly made poorly and could use a little more effort by the manufacturing company. If you want to save money and don't mind it perhaps falling apart a little due to craftsmanship, it will at the least give you some extra pockets and help you carry some things with you.

Nice pack, unless you're petite or short
This pack is well put together and was comfortable to put on and wear. Unfortunately, it's huge! I'm 5'2" with a pretty large chest, but narrow shoulders and waist. I put this on and had so much room between me and the bottom buckle, even at its tightest, that I had to return the pack. Even with a hydration bladder, it was much too loose. As someone that is shorter, I should also note that with a full bladder, the bottom of this hit my low back and bounced quite a bit. As a runner, there's no way I could have worn this during races with that being the case. I really wish it had worked, it's nice overall. But not recommended for smaller/shorter people.
