I love this harness- I have used it for both of my dogs from puppy-dom to now (golden retriever - 2yrs old, black lab- 1 1/2 yrs old). The harness immediately helped my golden, and stopped him from pulling. My lab it took a little longer, but it was my fault. I had only been using the clip between her shoulder blades, and then I actually read the directions that say the clip at the shoulder blades is for exercise, and the clip at the chest is for pulling issues. I switched to the clip at her chest, and the effect was immediate! sophie immediately stopped pulling and heeled right next to me, paying attention to what I was doing.I would highly recommend this harness to anyone with a larger dog and/or a dog who pulls! - It will solve your problems! It even works when I walk both dogs on a connector leash - I just hook the connector leash to the front of both dogs and they walk calmly and slowly next to each other - and me!

I gave 3 star review because the options for buying I bought a medium and it's huge on my standard poodle who weighs 55 lbs. So I have to go down to a small which is for a lighter dog not as strong as my poodle. There is no option for 1 inch in small, so I can't order the small my very strong poodle will just rip the 5/8 inch. Please someone offer a sturdy harness for thin large dogs!

the color is pretty awful. So I would recommend going to a pet store and getting a comfort harness similar to this.

The one I brought is slightly to big, but even so she has a hard time pulling now. I am happy with this product.

We love this harness. Works really well for a dog with a strong pull during walks. Great quality. Usually last us 2 to 3 years before we decide to upgrade to a new one.

I don't post reviews often, but this harness has been a game-changer. We've tried 3 other harnesses/collars for our young lab and nothing worked. We mostly use the top hook because our dog responds to the minimal squeezing quite well, but the front hook is very useful for car rides. She has pulled so much less with this harness. I can't say it's stopped pulling completely (i.e. squirrels), but it's the best improvement in the last 5 months. She doesn't mind it at all - it is the only harness she has not chewed off. It's also very easy to put on. We previously had the step through one but it took a 5 minute battle to put on. This harness just slips over her head and buckles easily on the sides. It's seriously wonderful.

This is my second harness and I ordered again because my dog needed a larger size. I bought again because I was so impressed with the superb quality and I know that it will last a very long time. And the design is very good the best harness I have ever had. And it gets quite the workout.

Great! I had trouble finding a harness that fit my pups chest properly (bull terrier/Dalmatian mix) and this is the one! The "Easy Walker" comes highly rated however large/xl never fit good, this one is perfect. She's very strong but using the front clip doesn't let her pull me, I have no problems walking her even when other dogs or rabbits are close. The velvet straps under the arms prevent cutting and chaffing, easy walker's cut into her underarms.
