The clock part itself is nice. Works fine and the digits are easy to see and dim as needed.I bought this particular clock for the projection to ceiling or walls, so I would be easy to see past my cpap mask. Unfortunately, the projection is nothing but a blob of blue light. I've tried it at different distances and nothing changes that blob. I even tried putting a magnifying glass in front of the lens, to see if would sharpen at all. Nothing. I would not recommend this clock if you want the projection feature.Update:Seller has gone above and beyond to make this problem right. Shipped me a brand new clock to replace the defective one. The new one works as advertised and looks cool. Thank you to the sellers for backing up their product!

The good news is that it does work, sort of. It tells the time, projects the time, even plays a super tinny radio with terrible reception.Where it suffers is usability. The flush mounted buttons are entirely useless in the dark when attempting to deactivate the alarm. I'm still unsure how I'm deactivating the alarm as I have to press Snooze first before the alarm button. Why? Who knows. I really enjoyed that their User Guide Addendum is the QA report confirming the feature is working. The time projection works only if you have the angle of the clock just right. You can twist the projected time, but only half way, therefore you're staring up at the ceiling time wondering why is it sideways? Has there been an earthquake and my bed has shifted?How can something so simple as an alarm clock fail so well in execution?UPDATED: I have updated this review & made it 4 stars because the customer service has been very good since originally posting my first review.

Hoping to get a good quality clock with a ceiling time projection, I looked closely at all of the pictures the vendor supplied on Amazon before purchasing. After receiving the clock and setting it up, the quality of the time projection on the ceiling is so poor, it is nearly unreadable. Not only is it blurry, but there is a round "halo" like a spotlight on the ceiling around the time. I noticed the inside surface of the lenz projecting the time was very dirty and caused the blurry projection. After disassembling this part of the clock and cleaning the problem part, the blurred image still remains. It truen out it is the absolute poorest quality of the clear lens causing the issue, which can never be repaired. So, this clock was given to Goodwill and we suffer a complete waste of time and money.

I decided to get this clock because it had very favorable reviews and everything I wanted (blue light projection, easy-to-use). When it first arrived, I thought the box was empty it was so lightweight. The directions were very brief, but not complicated. I had it set up working correctly with the projection on my ceiling fairly quickly. A few days later, I barely bumped it, and the screen went black. The cord to the back of the clock seemed fine, but upon touching it, the display returned. Except the projection was now a blue circle...no time was showing on the ceiling at all. Back to the directions...I had to remove the battery cover on the back, take out the battery, and replace the battery to reset the clock. So then I reset the time, readjusted the projection, and we were back in business. Until a few days later when my book touched the clock. It went black. I again took out the battery, and reset the time, and readjusted the projection. The clock is so lightweight, it tips over very too easily. I'm not overly confident that of any 5-star reviews of this product are from buyers who use this product regularly.Update: I have discovered that by using sticky tack (to hang pictures) along the bottom of the clock and pushing it to the very back of my dresser, it doesn't get bumped so there's no need to reset it. As we had hoped for, the time is now on the ceiling continually. As other buyers with less that 5-star reviews have commented, the sellers reached out to ask me to revise my review.

Sharp looking clock radio. Nice looking numbers on front. I have the white numbers. The audio is clear although coming from a class 3 amp and small speaker its not generally for everyday listening for most, but more than adequate for its purpose. Projection of time is crisp and clear from just about anywhere within 10 feet or so and perfect size on the ceiling sitting on a typical nightstand. (Around 4” size of the projection numbers on ceiling) Like the looks of this so much (faux woodgrain) I'm purchasing another before I give it the test of time for longevity. But of coarse if you wait to long on most electronic items these days, The exact model you desire probably wont be there when you want another.
