I ordered this because I currently use some Lira Clinical products already, and my aestechian uses this particular face scrub on me once a month, so I know that it's gentle enough for my very sensitive skin. I love Lira Clinical products because they're made with plant stem cells, which is not only super cool but really, really great for your skin!

It’s perfect for daily exfoliation without irritating. I’ve tried some other products from the same brand before used by my esthetician. 100% will continue using.

A good exfoliant for oily skin

We all could use a good exfoliating scrub every now and then. Lira Clarifying Scrub certainly works as a mild exfoliator. It has tiny beads that gently scrub the skin. I don't have sensitive skin, but this felt gentle enough for use on someone with sensitive skin. The beads are small and not abrasive at all. You could easily use this daily with no issues. However, I'm not fond of the smell. It isn't terrible, but it definitely isn't pleasant. The product is touted as anti-acne, skin brightening, and pore cleansing. I don't have acne, so I can't speak to that, but for me, there was no noticeable brightening or pore cleansing. I had hoped to see diminished pore size, but that was not the case. Regardless, the product is a good one if your goal is to keep your skin fresh by gently exfoliating with regularity.

Designed to help with acne my use is for occasional break-outs around the jawline. The product contains many soothing botanicals like aloe but which somewhat mitigate the drying action of the active ingredient--5 percent benzoyl peroxide. If possessing sensitive skin the active ingredient can be irritating so it may be wise to test the product first on a small area.The scrub has a light herbal scent and a grainy texture which exfoliates the skin helping to prevent clogged pores which can lead to acne. The 4 ounce squeeze tube arrives with a tight foil seal at the opening which ensures it arrives fresh and untouched. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in September 2022 the expiration date is 21 months in the future but dates will vary. Results will vary between individuals.

All natural ingredients and makes my skin feel very clean.I only use occasionally on my mature combination skin because I like the cleaning it does and the feel but I am not in need of the acne control.I have only heard wonderful things about this Lira Clinical brand and have been wanting to try this line for a long time.I really enjoy this face scrub and it makes my face feel cool/tingly and has a scent of tee tree/minty and I enjoy this clean scent.Nice cleansing , my skin is left clean and soft, reasonably priced.

I know that Lira is used in salons, and has a good reputation, as being popular among estheticians, and i am happy with the other Lira products i have.But this for me, leaves me wanting more, as i prefer scrubs to be rougher.I’m someone who used to regularly use the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, with no issues at all, and that’s as rough as i like it. This is too gentle for me, i use it and don’t feel exfoliated to be honest. I’m not someone who has sensitive skin, or any acne issues, so i don’t need a gentle scrub.It’s ok as a cleanser, my face feels clean, but i get kind of dry skin around my nose, and this doesn’t do anything for it. Well it does leave a sort of tingly feeling, and it takes my make up off, but that’s about all.I do have my favourite exfoliants and i will stick with those, as they do what i want them to.
