Vande Mataram 2

Audio CD is little bit of problem to listen

Got this item delivered a couple of days back. The cover and the imprint on the CD reads Vande Mataram 2, but plays songs from an earlier release titled Vande Mataram (1) by A R Rahman. There are 7 songs in the album which starts with Maa Tujhe Salam and ends with Thai Mannai Vanakkam (Tamil version of Maa Tujhe Salam). However keeping in view the (meager) amount I paid for this piece, I decided NOT TO PRESS for REFUND or REPLACEMENT because this is a manufacturing defect/mixup which the seller might not be aware of. Writing this review only to educate prospective buyers and manufacturers SaReGaMa about the mixup.

This is the third CD I’ve received in last 2 or so years wherein the displayed contents are of Vande Mataram 2 (1998 album), but tracks are from A. Rahman’s Vande Mataram (1997) album. It’s not the seller’s fault, but likely of Sony DDAC who are burning the CDs with wrong data. On the CD pack I couldn’t even find contact information of Sony to bring this problem to their notice.

This is AR Rahmans Vande Mataram and not the Bharatbala Lata Mangeshkar Vande MataramEverything on the Disc to the CD case says it is Bharatbala Lata Mangeshkar Vande Mataram.I bought both of them so it is of no use to me.By the way I love both the Discs and from the disc to the case cover everything is in good condition.It may happen with all the disc in this batch.

It's extremely disappointing that Vande Matram 1 disc has been delivered in VandeMatram 2 box.The Manufacturer to be blamed for this.

Why didn't they come up with anther one. Great work.
