Organic Essence Lip Balm, Natural, 0.21 Ounce

The vanilla kind is amazing! The flavour is light but still noticeable. The balm itself left my lips incredibly soft and even healed them from another lip balm which wreaked havoc on my poor lips! Sometimes the balm felt rough on my lips but it never damaged them.The only issue with this product that I have is the container. I can appreciate the commitment to keeping the product as eco-friendly as possible, but the balm can be troublesome to get out as you need to squeeze the tube like a tube of toothpaste in order to get the balm out. Once the balm is out, it's a pain to get back down into the tube - so you end up wasting a lot of the balm as it shoots out the sides of the lid when you put the lid back on. Keep a tissue ready to wipe the side of the lid afterwards so that you don't have lip balm everywhere!

This is a solid product. It does not leave a white cast on your lips at all (although it does not contain SPF either), and the raspberry scent is very natural--NOT chemical-like or too overpowering. The container was smaller than I expected, but not enough to deter me from purchasing it again. I've tried both the raspberry and the grapefruit scents. The grapefruit doesn't necessary smell like grapefruit...more like a faint sugary citrus. PLEASE NOTE: The seller from Amazon (not Organic Essence) used an inordinate amount of packaging materials when all I asked for was one tube of lip balm. I was attempting to find a plastic-free lip balm alternative and shipping materials blew all of my good intentions out of the water. Seriously ridiculous packaging! I have been told that the company who makes the lip balm--Organic Essence--uses responsible packaging and I will repurchase from them directly.

We're trying to reduce the amount of plastic we use, which has been a challenging feat. I love that Organic Essence has created a tube made of compost-able materials (no plastic). As for the lip balm formulation - it's fantastic! Definitely like the raspberry flavor! Very happy with this product. I hope this company grows and is successful. Thank you for producing a plastic-free lip balm.

Lip balm was a bit on the dry gritty side for me. Perhaps I got an old one but I felt there was a 50 cent lip balm and $6.50 packaging. Bought it for the cool packaging but must say the product did not live up to the hype.

Sadly I only noticed after the fact that it contains tocopherol (Vitamin E) which in this form isn't entirely organic, or good for you.

The only lip balm that actually works and doesn't dry out my lips. Hard to find this kind though. Worth the money
