I have two very expensive couches that have been ruined due to my cats feeling the need to scratch every surface they can get their little claws on. I purchased this in hopes that it will deter them from ruining any more of my furniture! My cats avoided it at first but once I sprayed some catnip on it, they went crazy. Now they only scratch this mat and they leave my other surfaces alone! SO happy to see that I have relatively undamaged furniture now.

Before purchasing this scratching pad, my cat had her scratch all over my room. This product saved me some cash for buying another table, mattress, sofa, writing desk; you name it.

Having a giant cat that doesnt always allow me to trim his nails this has come in handy! He was drawn to it the moment I brought the box in the house! Put it on the couch he immediately started using this to scratch at, also loves to lay on the part that covers the arm of the couch! I was worried it may not work on my couch bc I dont have wide arms but it fits perfectly and hasnt moved even with his big ol butt trying to move it!

We've all purchased cat scratching posts and other devices that cats completely ignore, but my mother's cat started sharpening her claws on this one before we could even put it up on the furniture.

My cats love this thing. My only complaint is that the fabric that hangs over the chair arm is very high quality and very smooth so my phone is constantly sliding off of it lol. But one of my cats used to scratch this chair up and since investing in this thing, she only ever scratches it at the mat, saving my chair!

My cat and I love it! There are three cats in my family, so how to keep the cat from scratching the sofa has always been a big problem in our family. It is different from other cat scratchers and can cover the side of my sofa very well. After a few days of purchase, none of my three cats started scratching the couch, preferring the new scratchpad. And its quality is very good. I am satisfied with it.

The cats don’t use it at all to scratch, which is may be a good thing. It does protect the arms of my couch whenever they are active and running/jumping on furniture with claws out.The product could be improved with eliminating the berber, since the cats don’t use it and replacing it with maybe some weights on the ends to help keep it in place, or maybe line the underside with some of that ever sticky/no residue material.

i tried everything i could think of to get her to scratch this instead of the front of my chair. if i get her something expensive she flat out ignores it.
