This is an excellent way to encourage kids
We were looking for some encouragement for our son to think outside the box. He's been doing 'jobs' for years, but has always had ideas to go beyond mowing lawns or pet walking. This is an excellent way to encourage kids!

Ordered Two!
Used this book along with a few others in order to donate to the local library for future business owners. Good find and great price. Children enjoyed the insights for becoming mini entrepreneurs during the Summer Reading Program at the local library.Enjoyed

Small Business Ideas for Teens - not Kids
My only problem with this book is the title. I find it misleading. From the title: "Better than a Lemonade Stand! small business ideas for kids" I had the impression that this book would include business ideas that my nine year old granddaughter could pursue. Not so, the audience for this book is much older - teenagers. Teenagers don't have lemonade stands - 5 -12 year olds have lemonade stands. Teenagers aren't really in the kid age group. Other than that the book has some great ideas. I like the quiz: Are you ready for a business? I like that the author includes what to charge for the service or product and how to advertise. I would have given this a 5 star rating but for the misleading title of the book

A total disapointment !!!!!
very basic description of each type of business it's all you've got !if like me you wanted your child to gain easy-to-follow lessons that lead students step-by-step to starting a business or exposed to sales and marketing techniques, accounting skills, day-to-day business operations, and public relations, earning a monthly income and supporting a charity of their choice ect... you are on the wrong direction with this book.My 10 years old boy was waiting for the book impatiently and was really disapointed, first of all, he did not learn something new, and only 1 page for each business description so we bought the book just for 1 page.Maybe suitable for kids under 8y.
