The Remnant Chronicles Boxed Set: The Kiss of Deception, The Heart of Betrayal, The Beauty of Darkness

These books are so so so good. Great story!! Usually I find plot twists pretty obvious but this one got me and I love that. Definitely a series to read over and over.

I bought this series after I'd already read Dance of Thieves and Vow of Thieves. I realize now that I went backward in the reading order, but it was still a wonderful read, regardless. I even went back and reread the beginning of Dance of Thieves with the previous information fresh in my mind. If I had even the smallest complaint about this book, it would be the blatant sexism Lia has to face throughout her journey. Maybe it's just that as a fellow woman, it felt too real. I already deal with sexism on a daily basis, so having it shoved in my face over and over again felt a bit like a beating. That said, I enjoyed the ending of the series and the fact that Lia knows she will always be fighting against people who will look down on her based on her gender. That felt real, too, but uplifting. All in all, I loved the world that Mary E. Pearson has built with the Remnant Chronicles, and I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

Love the series. Lots of up and downs. I couldn’t put it away it was so good. Pages are a little thin so you need to be gentle but definitely would recommend

It was nice that it was not damaged. There is a little creases on the edges but almost every box set I’ve ordered has this. And I’ve had worse damages so I’m pleased with it. Excited to read !

Great read and quality

I'm an adult and I really enjoyed these books. I love fantasy but some of it is just getting too violent lately. (Like Game of Thrones-- I read them anyway but it was overboard on the killing of just about everybody.) These young adult books are apparently much more my speed!

Chegou muito rápido e são muito lindos. No entanto, um ponto negativo pra mim, foi a caixa em que vem os livrinhos, pois é muito frágil. De resto, tudo perfeito. Passar as férias maratonando.

Das erst was ich gemacht habe ist dass ich mir jedes Buch bis zur letzten Seite angeschaut habe ob es in Ordnung ist. Denn in den Bewertungen war zu lesen das einige Seiten verklebt oder geschwärzt waren, was mir unverständlich ist. Wäre das bei mir der Fall gewesen dann hätte ich die Bücher zurückgeschickt. Also bei mir war alles ok.

Los libros me fueron enviados en perfecto estado. Y los libros son fenomenales.No me gusta mucho el romance o los triángulos amorosos, así que honestamente no pensé que me encantaría toda la serie cuando empecé por primera vez. El primer libro era pesado en la historia de amor, pero yo estaba intrigado ya que era de ritmo rápido y decidí darle una oportunidad. Estoy tan contento. Me encanta.Me encanta que el personaje principal es una mujer y ella se hizo bien por el autor. Me encanta que aunque está claramente enamorada de alguien, su único enfoque no es sólo él. Ella es testaruza y no es una damisela en apuros que se inclina a la voluntad de cualquiera, incluso a sus amantes. Ella tiene una hermosa relación con otros personajes femeninos. También me apego a la mayoría de los personajes secundarios que rara vez hago.Estoy realmente sorprendido de lo mucho que disfruté de esta serie. Muy recomendable.
