Perfect for my daughter’s one person tent!

Nice weight. The only thing is the grommet holes are a little to far for my tent. I have a grommet kit so I'm going to add a few more to each strap to make it more versitle.

The product pictures, and even the tag it came with, said the pack size is 4” x 2”. The actual pack size is more like 8” x 3.5”. I tried folding it in half again before rolling it up to see if i could pack it any smaller, but then it was too big to fit in the bag. Not a big complaint as the tarp itself looks like it’ll get the job done (haven’t used it camping yet) but i wish i wasn’t falsely advertised.

This footprint was the perfect purchase for my 1 person tent. Folds up compact and attaches to the outside of my tent bag. The thickness is great and the corner stake out straps are very sturdy.

I bought this to go under a Eureka Midori 1, and it works well at half the price of the brand specific product. The Midori, and many other solo tents, taper at the foot end. This tarp is rectangular which makes it necessary to fold some material under the tent on the narrow end. Based on other reviews, it may be heavier than the stated weight. It is definitely sturdy and the corners are finished very nicely. When I broke camp after the first use, there was some condensation on the under side which beaded up. No moisture penetrated the tarp. I down rated it for versatility only because its dimensions are so specific to its use under a solo tent. I believe it's an excellent alternative to a brand name footprint.

The Rakaia Designs 1 Person Lightweight Tent didn't come with a footprint and I had to guess at the correct size. The 83x36 fits as though it was specifically built for this tent. The material is heavy and appears quite durable. It folds down quite small and fits perfectly into the bottom of my Camelbak Rim Runner 22 pack. It probably isn't the best for the ultra-lightweight guys, but for normal people doing a bit of normal daypack/overnighters it is probably about as ideal as it gets.The tabs are very well stitched with very good materials and the grommets are very well set. I expect good longevity for this product and the price, in this guy's opinion, is more than reasonable.

I purchased two of these to use under my one man tents for extra protection from the water/moisture on the ground. kept the moisture off the bottom of my tents, Good sturdy material and easy to clean. Works well for my applications.I would purchase again.

Don't make my mistake. Some tents can use the same holes, others can't.If you are not sure - you should buy some stakes as well to be safe.
