Sakkas Viveka Embroidered Caftan Dress

I ended up getting three of these dresses I like them so much! Beautiful cool flowy fabric, well made, color fast, perfect for summer or indoor lounging. Absolutely voluminous. Will fit anyone! They are almost too long for me, I’m 5’1”, so I have to hold the front to climb stairs, etc., but they are very feminine and comfy

Beautiful, comfortable, easy to clean, fast to dry!!! I got at least a dozen compliments from complete strangers. This is a very sunshine happy summer dress....soft, flowing, casual and dressy all rolled into one. I didn't love it until I put it on and then when I immediately began getting compliments once I walked out my front door. At the end of the day I hand washed it, hung it to dry and before I went to bed it was dry (great vacation dress). Love it, I may get another very soon!!!I am 5'6" and in the front and back it goes to my ankles and on the sides it goes up to right below my knees. I normally wear a size X-large top as I have 44" bust but there is plenty of room to spare in this OH SO comfortable fun dress!!

Cool and comfy for around the house in the heat of summer. Washes well just be sure to use color catchers because to color runs.

This dress is so much fun! And I have received so many compliments on it! The red is a little more muted than the pictures shows. And in the picture the bottom looks kind of white. Well, it is a hand wash kind of item, so I just rinse it out in my sink with a little soap and water. When I did this the first time, the red color bled. So the bottom of my dress is definitely not white. It doesn't make the dress any less beautiful, it just isn't white. It is more a yellow and then red tinged color.Also this dress fans out huge! It is kind of fun, but it is also different, so I want to give you a heads up on it. The dress comes down to a point both in the back and the front. On the sides it comes up fairly high.Because the dress is made to be extremely flowy, I have to wear a belt around my waist with it. The belt keeps the dress from going out of control, and it also gives me a little more curves when I wear it.There is black stitching around it, don't expect top quality, expect something that looks more like a homemade project. But this doesn't detract from the beauty of the dress.I would recommend this dress if you are looking for something different but cozy and pretty.

I LOVE THIS DRESS!!! Washed twice, in washing machine on delicate cycle with salt to set the dye, hung it up to dry, wore it the next day. I am a breast cancer survivor and I am always looking for something comfortable that I can wear around the house AND run out the door without changing clothes, and I found all of that plus some in this dress. The fit, versatility, feel of the fabric and style is so awesome that I bought two more. The price alone is worth a try. I can see this dress working well with most body types. I am 5'5" and small framed so a lot of "One Size Fits Most" clothing swallows me up, yet the cut and fabric hangs well and flows beautifully. Bottom line, I feel feminine, gorgeous and sexy... no small feat to a breast cancer survivor!

This dress was packaged in a clear bag and was folded neatly; however, when removed from the bag it had a very strong dye odor, so I washed it by itself on cold and gentle cycle to remove the strong scent. I hung it to dry, but noticed that a lot of the stitching was coming loose on the embroidery part, and it could not be fixed, so the threads had to be pulled out. This left the dress bare of design in many parts. I bought a purple dress as well and the same thing happened. I was going to wear one on a date, but I think they will be only good for around the house or at the beach. I am sad because they could be lovely with better stitching.

I have several dresses from Sakkas and I truly love them. They flow beautifully and hide the fact I'm a little on the chunky side. I'm taking three of them on my vacation to Cancun next month. I think they will be perfect for the hot weather and beach! Thin, but not too thin. I highly recommend them. (BTW, I'm 5' 165 lbs, and the point of the V almost touches the floor.))

this dress is a mistake. the shoulders do not measure the same. I will need to take this dress apart and add material to the L shoulder. upon receiving this package, a note was written, on the tag, stating 'not to return this product because of blemishes and off-centered embroidery, due to this being the authentic sakkas brand.' so, there are no imperfections, blemishes, or off-centered embroidery of this product, which I need to redo the left shoulder to fit properly. I do love the dress.
