Taste: Very Smokey but without any actual smoking involved! There's defiantly a deep savory flavor to these. Size: 1-3 inch peppers Traits: At last! The return of the southern flavor king! A pepper it took me awhile to find / grow new stock for! The one and only TRUE Chipotle pepper! A type of fat red jalapeno grown in Mexico that dries thick like leather and has a magnificent rich taste that can put a normal chimichanga to shame! So as with a couple other of my runs to Mexico - this pepper yields as a food production pepper! It's not so much for looks or rarity as it is taste! And a lot it! I suggest not eating these plain because they can be a bit to salty and overpowering! But awesome in sauce!
