This is a dog crate pad with a smooth cotton side and a fleece side. I got the brown color (tan on one side, dark brown or black on the bottom) and it fit the medium crate but was a tad smaller than the crate bottom. (This is the one star off.)My older dog is not normally crated and I wanted to see if she'd accept being in the crate and be comfortable before crating her for longer periods. She went into the crate, and was laying down and seemed comfortable when I came back in 40 minutes, so it seems to work.As a dog bed? No. The pooches have foam beds which are quite comfortable and warm for them on the floor but this pad is really best as a crate liner. After I bought this, I found a more expensive but thicker, memory foam crate liner that might be more comfortable for the older dog.  Floppy Dawg Premium Large Dog Bed - Moldable Memory Foam, Removable Cover, and Water Resistant Liner - Fits 42" Crates  If you are concerned that the dog have more padding, it might be a better bet.My dogs stretch out on the laminate floor and don't seem to mind, but I like a pad under them for warmth and comfort in a crate.

Size was good, but thinner then the picture.

Arrived and is super soft and comfy... few days later the black fuzz sheds everywhere. I vacuum daily just from the material shedding not the dog lol but def super soft and comfy

Within minutes of opening the package and laying it down, both my cat and dogs snuggled up, one dog got kicked off. They really like it. I bought it because the color matches my office.

Bought one and really liked it so I bought 2 more. I thought it would be nice to have a couple for back up when I was washing one. The first one washed very nicely.These were not only more expensive than the first one, but they appeared to have been used and washed. They were nappy and not soft like the first one I got from a different store, and one of them had black marks like grease or marker on it and had a torn tag. I think they had been washed and returned. They were not at all as nice as the first one was. I'm not happy with these at all.I tried to take photos of the black marks but couldn't get them to turn out on my phone. If you need to see them, let me know and I will try again. I'll post what I've got. I'm sorry, but this order did not make me happy at all.Also, I left feedback and never got any response from the seller at all! Went back and deleted another star. 3" thick? It's not even a full inch. I have no idea where they pulled that number out of. Maybe they actually filled the "bed" that they measured? Don't buy this, just go to your pet store and buy something you can actually touch. (On there label connected to the product they do put 2", but it's not like I could see that when I purchased it, or that it's any more accurate)

everything sticks to the fleece bottom

This dog bed is not good enough for my dog. Maybe I am weird; maybe I want too much for my beagle friend. I don't know. What I do know is that this product is not what I expected. Firstly, it isn't nearly 3 inches thick. It's 1.5, 2 at most and not very plush. It would definitely be better for a small dog than anything bigger. It's not even as thick as my blanket, so there is really no chance of my dog choosing to lie there rather than, say, the couch. It is also at least a half an inch short in either direction. I am not sending it back, though, because my cat loves it. So, if you have a cat, he or she may think this is the cat's pajamas, but your dog might not, not if he or she is anything like my puppyfer, who is sitting next to me on the comfortable people furniture, after spending about 45 seconds deciding that she could do better than her new bed.

I ordered a large Pet Life reversible bed and am disappointed. This item is made on the small side with dimensions only reaching 22 x 33 and that is stretched flat and only 1.5" thick . Very disappointed. I would not have purchased this had I seen it in store. Probably OK for a small breed though.

I liked that it was reversible. A bit thin but reasonable for the price.

Bit on the small side. Otherwise nicely padded and puppy loves sleeping on it.
