Botanic Garden Mug and Coaster Set (Sunflower)

I liked the cups because they matched my other Botanic dishes and the capacity was large enough for the every morning jolt of caffeine that I crave. The mug has a slight flare at the lip which allows you to avoid messy drips down the sides. The matching coaster/cover is very useful in preventing circles on my table and as a cover to keep the beverage warm if you are drinking while working or deep in conversation. The background was white as it should be, not yellow, and the pattern was well defined. It did not have the blurriness sometimes found on pieces made outside of the UK. I feel elegant drinking my morning coffee from them.

Very nice coffee coffee cup. However USPS lied to Amazon by saying it was delivered to our mailbox. Really. It was delivered at night and left in the front yard.

I ordered the Sunflower mug but received the red Poppy mug. The problem is with a sharp knob under the handle that is under the glaze. It scratches the finger if you are not careful when using the cup. This flaw should not have made it to the retail stage. Without the flaw, the cup would be nice. The poppy design is lovely, and the lip of the cup is smooth. I may try to sand off the sharp bump, but that would break down the integrity of the glaze. Likely will return. Glad I did not send this one as a gift!

Overpriced turns out Places like TJ Max has these for less… when they have them.
