FS-10D: Great Electric Scooter for the Price, But Be Wary of Lacking Product Support/Servicing
Update 3/7/19: Scooter still running strong, added a seat using a 3rd party seat bracket and a bit of welding--ride quality feels a lot more comfortable and safer with the lowered center of gravity. Have put 100+ miles on this thing and the only thing that has come up is a cracked throttle (see pictured) due to some bumpy riding over rocky terrain, which probably could have been avoided with gentler riding or better build quality as the throttle itself is made of plastic. Reached out to FreegoUSA in January but no luck on any replacement. Ended up using some JB weld and aluminum tape to shim the throttle and keep it set in place. Only gripe about this scooter is that there's basically no product support or servicing available, so for that reason I'm updating the score to 4 out of 5 stars. Still worth it if you don't mind the lack of product support, but definitely plan on riding this more gently to make it last longer. So to start, I ordered this on a Monday and it arrived Thursday with free Prime shipping--one of the advantages of having a US distribution channel as a lot of the other electric scooter companies ship directly from China and take considerably longer. I had a few questions and Ty from FreegoUSA answered all of them very promptly.Onto the scooter, this thing is wild! I mean that in the best possible way, the more I ride it the more I fall in love with it. To preface, I'm a bigger guy at 6'3" and 250 lbs and this thing moved me around like I was nothing. On flat ground the dual motors got me up to 30mph with ease and single motor was a solid 20mph--for smaller riders this will definitely move quicker but honestly anything faster and you're gonna want full motorcycle gear. I'm serious, this thing hauls and the two disc brakes do a great job of stopping it safely but you want to be super cautious when riding because it's easy to forget how fast it goes. The range is great so far and going 10 miles barely takes 1 bar out of 5 on the LCD display. For smaller riders around 150 lbs this thing will get great range and even better if you're on single motor mode. Dual motor is too fun not to use though so I don't mind the reduced range.Build quality on this is great, the only thing I really noticed was the dual motor button being stuck but a little WD-40 fixed that right up. One drawback is the weight of this, even with the aluminum chassis, but I was still able to move it around with relative ease. Honestly I'd rather take a little bit of extra heft if it means a stronger overall frame and bigger battery. The one thing I'd like to see with these as an option for future models is a seat but there's plenty of aftermarket options out there so I will look into that. Some cool little features are the LCD backlit display (with trip odometer, speedometer, speed modes and battery indictator), bell chime , the automatic front headlight, tail light and brake light (activated by either front or left brake).I will update this review if anything changes but so far so good, it's worth every penny! I was a bit wary about this scooter since there weren't any reviews on this specific model but Freego seems to have a great track record with their e-bikes, electric scooters, and hoverboards so I'm glad I took the plunge with this purchase.

PURE JOY - ROCK SOLID - BUY THIS ONE! FS10D
This is a review for the FS10D. Freego's latest and most powerful scooter.I don't work from them and RARELY do reviews, but the moment I got on this thing I knew i was going to have to tell everyone I know about this scooter. You ever wonder what it would feel like if you could JOG at 30 mph? This is EXACTLY what it would feel like without the heavy breathing or sweat lol. It's a completely unique feeling not even close to what a bike or any other vehicle ...especially at those speeds. The scary thing is that it didn't feel fast at all.... this thing drives itself!I had been researching for about 6 months and there was ALWAYS something I didn't like about other models...usually not enough power or the brakes ...I am so glad i waited for this beauty.I have only had it for about a week so i will return and add to this review as time goes by.My first voyage was at night time as i was just too excited to wait until the morning. Fortunately it was a full moon. When it arrived it already had a couple of bars of power so i decided to taker her for a spin. UNCONTROLABLE GIGGLING .. all of a sudden i was 12 years old whizzing down an empty country road under the moonlight. GREAT LED LIGHT ...BACK LIGHTS and BRAKE LIGHTS ARE AWESOME.The next day was the real test. I took her out onto empty backroads and opened her up ...HOLY S%*& ... I clocked 42 MPH at one point and that's probably as fast as i will ever go on this thing again ..even then i was in control but it was just TOO COMPFORTABLE ,,, dont drive that fast ... seriously lol. I amde a quick turn onto a trail head and then starting clibing a grvel trail at 25mph UPHILL ,,, it was not a baby hill at all...this thing didn't even flinch as i engaged the 2nd motor (red button) ...that red button is PURE JOY. Amazing power and drive with both motors. The next day I took the family on a sweet Suday bike ride while scooter circles around them.Lots of staring ... about 3 people (dudes of course lol) asked me immediately where they could buy one. Didn't even ask how much. Only one HATER comment ...some lady made a snide remark about how I am too lazy to walk. Some people will just never come to terms with thier own insecurities (jealous) ...she was pissed becuase my whole family was having a blast and she was stuck with two crying kids (dragging them by their arms)In short.... BUY THIS ....AND ALSO BUY A HELMUT, Wrist, Elbow , and Knee gaurds!PROS:- Just about EVERYTHING- SPEED like you wouldn't believe. This thing EATS hills like you wouldn't believe.- Handles gravel roads like a champ, potholes no prob (avod if you can though!)- Braking is just ridiculous. VERY POWERFUL- SOLID BUILD. It's a tank- SMOOTH RIDE ..suspsension is awesome.CONS- It's about 52 lbs. a wheels carry bag would be awesome.- No seat or seat post add on (not a big deal)- manual could use some general mainentance tips.

So impressed with this beast. Customer Service, not so much.
Loved this escooter. The Freego FS-10D is the real deal, super powerful, dual motor speed demon with a battery that would go all day. Solid build. Well constructed, with solid components.Used it for commuting the 4 miles of steep SW Portland hills, when I wanted a break from my ebikes.Mine arrived with a cracked rear mud guard that would rattle when I rode. Couldn't get FreegoUSA to send a replacement part after many calls/IMs/emails and assurances that it was "going out tomorrow morning". And then radio silence.Oh well. I sent it back within the Amazon return window after 21 days and 100+ miles. Felt really bad about using it so much, but I had every intention of keeping it. Preparing the box to send it back was a PITA. The box was heavily damaged in transit and it took a couple of rolls of packing tape to get it in shape to send back.SOOOO glad I bought it from Amazon. I don't know what would have done a year from now when I got a flat or had a problem with a controller and needed real customer service. On a side note, the FS-10D gave me the taste for effortless speed. I bought a motorcycle as soon as my refund came through.

Piece of garbage.
The front wheel came off while I was riding this and caused me to flip over and land on my head and wrist. Broke my wrist. This is a piece of crap and not safe at all.
