Cambridge Casual Solid Wood Brion Futon Daybed, Black/Ivory

I am trying to furnish a home office that could double as a guest room, and I must have looked at 100 different daybed and futon models trying to find a piece of furniture that would not only fit into the space and handle occasional guests, but look good in the process. I also didn't want to spend over $1000, although the futons I liked all seemed to be in that price range. I hit the jackpot with this Cambridge daybed!I had it in my cart for a week or so, and when the price went down a bit, I jumped on it (I would have hated myself if the price had gone the other direction). This is heavy duty furniture, and although I doubt we'll get anywhere near the weight limit, two people can sit on it comfortably, and it can accommodate an average-sized human lying down.Easy to assemble? Well, I mostly watched, but it went together fast! Moreover, it completely transformed the otherwise emptyish office. A small table and an area rug and we'll be ready for siblings, parents, cousins, and anyone else stopping by.A couple of caveats: I took the photo right after assembling it, so you can still see the wrinkles. Also, the fabric is beautiful, but the color is also very light. As soon as I saw the cushions in person, I ordered a can of fabric protector, and we've already decided that the futon will be off-limits to dogs, at least our dogs.

Cute size for my smallish lanai. I can use it as a small couch, lounge chair, or day bed. I can't say it was simple to assemble, but I am a 72 year old women very limited building skills and put it together in a little over an hour (I'm sure it would have been much faster and more efficient had I waited for my son-in-law to visit, but I was excited to start using it).The cushions seem firm and comfortable, although they do slide around a little bit when the sides are down. I am happy with my purchase!

I bought it to have an extra place to sleep when the grandkids come. Looks nice, cushions are thick and comfortable. As a couch, it works fine, though it is a bit small. But as a bed there is a major problem--when the arms are folded down, they are easily broken. You've got to warn your guests that they CANNOT sit on the end of the "bed" without breaking it. I'm pretty handy at furniture assembly, but his was a challenge. I wish they offered it with different colored cushions.

We absolutely love this little loveseat. It was so easy to put together, took us approximately 20 minutes. And another 10 for the cushions. You cannot sit on the fold out arms. But it’s great to lean against and let your feet stretch out. The material is like medium thickness, canvas. Highly recommend this.

I really love this futon! It delivered on time. All parts were included. I got 1 extra of each screw.I assembled this myself. But had to have husband tighten 4 of the hinge screws for me. By that time my fingers were sore from tightening with the Allen Key (included in shipment). Instructions were simple and easy to follow.It doesn’t matter if it is right sided or left sided as both ends lower and can face which ever way you need it to. It comes with 4 pillows and a mattress. These all have zippers for the covers. 2 of the pillows I put on fuzzy pillow cases and love it!In my picture I added 2 pillows and a blanket. Very cozy for my sunroom!I would recommend this to anyone wanting to add some relaxation to a room.
