The board seemed thick enough. However this was not easy to assemble because some of the parts weren't included at all. I didn't receive any little knobs like the ones pictured above as well as no instructions. Waste of money as far as I see it because I was very excited to put this together and then put the time into piecing it together to realize that the parts that had been thrown all together in a little plastic bag for packaging with no information or paper manual of any kind was in fact missing several components.

What I dislike is my inexperience. They need to give a small sheet on how to use this properly. I think I fried mine. But it was a load of fun to put together... I would get another one. But without knowing exactly how to use it it would be superfluous. Also the resistors they gave me were old ones.. I have new ones and used those for what I had.. but had to use some old ones that didn't meet the needed requirements of the board.. It was the three input with no idea which one was + or - and what the third one was for.. The best output I could get was 651 milliamps.. Thanks though I was fun and good experience and the price was great!

Absolutely zero instructions provided, all IC's were in bag with the rest of the items, all had severely bent pins.
