All-CladK2750DGT Stainless Steel Immersion Blender, Silver

Q: looking at pictures, it looks like there is a plastic/silicone ring where the blade meets the shaft (under the hood).. or is it all stainless?

Instead of a homogeneous welded blade cup, there's a silicon ring that seals the separate blade plate against the cup end of the shaft. Mine failed and food and liquid got behind the plate and became awful and unsanitary, possibly deadly. We were shocked to see the inside when we managed to detach the blade from the shaft. I could post pictures, but I can't see where I could here. The blender is more expensive then others and we thought we got the best blender on the market. Though a replacement of the gasket could be a short term easy fix, All Clad gave no option of such. All Clad electrical item warranties are only for 2 years, ours was 3 years old. Reading other review of this blending, my problem is not unique. Hence I'm looking for a different brand immersion blender.

Nothing- this is a major flaw of this unit. I am currently waiting on all-clad to rectify. I’m not optimistic.

Q: Can anyone recommend a stainless steel cup for this blender?

"Newness Stainless Steel Measuring Cup with Marking with Handle, 32 Ounces (1.0 Liter, 4 Cup)": It has a nice wide bottom (about 3 3/4"), big enough for the large blending head on the KZ750D.

Q: Are there any wisk or other attachments?

Hi Glenn,At this time there is only the blending stalk. I'm not sure if All Clad has plans to create other attachments but you can contact them directly by calling 800-255-2523.
