Amazing stuff, when used properly
I used Forj to repair a cracked lens covering a decorative ceiling light. I was then able to fashion replacement loops for my Solomon shoes (originals had torn off). This is terrific stuff, but you need to keep a few things in mind:1. This is NOT an adhesive! It sticks really well to itself, but not necessarily to other substrates. The key is to use it standalone (like the laces loops) or make sure your repair is done in such a way it can be wrapped back onto itself.2. It doesn’t add “structure” like an epoxy putty. The fiber reinforcement makes it strong w/r/t tensile strength, but you can’t use it to build missing structure or gap fill. You can cut this stuff with a knife, even after it’s set.3. Don’t over heat! Overheating causes the fibers to separate and they’ll flow away from one another.4. Heating- I found a heat gun works best, since you can focus the heat on the part of the repair you’re working on. If you heat a section you’ve already molded, it will fall apart.

magical - works better than I expected. The molded result is as strong as steel.
I used this to replace a lever that broke. I had to apply a lot of force on this lever (100 lbs), so I was skeptical that it would hold, but once it cools (take a few min), it's as strong as steel. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't experience it myself.Very easy to work with. You just cut a piece of the ribbon and put it in hot water (60 c or so) for a few min, and it's like plasticine, but once it cools,.. like steel.

Works pretty good... but the Price? That's a different story.
I mainly purchased to help hold wires to the inside frame of vehicle. Also for chit's-n-giggles, I tried it for a temporary repair on a 1" hole located on garage roof, and it held-out really good with the asphalt tile. Not one drop of water entered from multiple rain storms. But the price is astronomically high, in my opinion. Although, when needed to repair, temporary roof repair. It was well worth double its price.

It just works
This remote here cracked at my job, we work rain or shine so it had to be fixed. To repair it I used a heat gun on medium intensity, as soon as the tape turns clear I place it layer by layer. It works great this is not my first fix with it.

Impressed.
Found this by accident. Didn't realize such a product existed. Fixed old solar fountain fixture I was ready to trash. Found it somewhat difficult to work with - tape split, and some adhesive clung to fingers - but I assume I'd get better with follow-on efforts. Note that I used a heat gun and not hot water. Maybe not water makes things easier. Still, provided for a sturdy fix to items that were ready to separate.

Too hot
You have to get it too hot to comfortably mold with your fingers. Maybe that’s why I couldn’t get it to work well.

Amazing stuff
This stuff is amazing. The ribbon melts into a kind of tacky very soft material within seconds when warmed up and quickly becomes like chewed gum before hardening into a surprisingly strong and very tough material. I didn’t detect any shrinkage as it cooled and hardened. There are strands of very strong thread-like material- like that found in reinforced packing tape- which give the final product incredible strength. Super happy with how this helped me repair a broken part of my motorcycle faring. I only wish it came in different colors. The white material kind of sticks out. I’m not sure if I can paint it but I’d like to find out.
